he's not allowed to go to a bar? IDC what he did while he was a bear.

He can go to a bar, to a strip club, to a gay bar. He can go to church, to work, to visit friends. He can get drunk, do drugs, race cars. He can do things in moderation as well. I hope he has fun, I hope he's a very good Cowboy and makes a difference. I just don't want be back here next year looking for more DL after a subpar year.

Let's just assume you and I want the same...another Lombardi trophy soon. Bottom line, period, full stop.

Donald is still a great pick at 16. If Melton struggles or fails to put up Pro Bowl numbers, we cut him and avoid the extra 3 years that are undoubtedly expensive. And Marinelli wants to rotate guys anyway.

Agree. From what I'm reading the 3 years would be guaranteed and big so you stack your line with biggest studs and if you get injuries, etc you can deal with it.

This is the same team that signed Ratliff... Im just saying

It's like Chicago and Dallas are mirrors of each other. I just hope we aren't the broken one... :) ... Having said that, I can't understand their thinking if they were leary of Melton, what in the world were they thinking signing Ratliff coming off 2 years of surgeries and miss time? It boggles son... it boggles.

How much is Melton making this year? Curious how his 1yr deal impacts the CAP.

You mean it is the same team that found a 7th round draft choice that became a Pro Bowler then resigned him. The Cowboys are not responsible for the bad faith on the part of Ratliff last year.

I was talking about the Bears.

It's like Broadus said quoting Parcells... stack em in there like a sandwich. . .Thats a Parcellism if there ever was one. and i like it.

I was making that comment in reference to the Bears.

That is true. They had the same kind of injury issues, they ran the same kind of scheme. They have the same needs.

I think they had a better offseason approach. But then again, they had a better cap situation.

yes but not by much from what their radio guy was saying on the fan earlier. Time will tell who got the better broken DT action figure.
