Men, how does 6-11 look to you in 2024?

I'd rather just tank the rest of the season, that'd give us at least the 5th selection probably. Trade up a few spots and get a QB. This team needs new spark. Look how Washington turned their whole franchise around after taking a QB.
We are tanking, good fellow, but we do it with nuance, such as 6-11.
You know, lad, give em just enough W's to keep them paying for parking, tickets and $50 pizzas and $25 beers.

It looks like we suck. I've been avidly against tanking for a long as I can remember, but we're 3-5, and have looked pretty bad even with our record holding QB. Lamb is hurting, WR depth is rough, the OL is rough, and the run game is the worst I've seen in Dallas since Hambone...and it's probably worse than that. Our defense has been dinged up, but even before we lost all of our DE's they kinda sucked.

The formula to win with Rush or Lance is to run the ball early and often, and to play strong defense, creating a ball control advantage going our way. I just don't see how it's possible with the personnel in place, so the obvious goal should be to "fight" for the highest draft pick possible, while developing our young talent and prepping for next season.

A blue chip QB is preferred, if they're of the board. Otherwise I want Jeanty. Say what you want, I don't care. The league is shifting back towards the tried and true formula of ground based ball control and strong defense. Use a top 10 pick on Jeanty, and the ground game is set for 5-7 years minimum. Detroit went high with Gibbs, Atlanta drafted Bijan top 10, and both teams are legit threats in the NFC. The notion of the devalued RB position is dead. In the second, grab the absolute best DT available. This addresses the two biggest problems on this team. Sign a guard and WR in FA, fill out depth with mid range free agents, and go BPA through the draft, and we have a contender.

Well said, me lad. We need to see the understudies in this period of unforced tanking.

And, govnor, right you are about Detroit and Atlanta acquiring RB help.

6-11 in Irving seems like the fault line of our fandom. 5-12 would roil the fans. 4-13 would see Dak (somehow), Parsons and Diggs become trade bait.
This substandard team, though organically talented, has no heart or direction and doesn't fear 4X Mike.

Me brain trust at the group home has crunched the numbers and it isn't looking pretty like Mamie Van Doren.

Keep in mind we have losses ...um er ...games against the Eagles (2), Washington (2), Tampa Bay and Cincinnati.

What would 6-11 fetch us in the draft?
I'd Prefer 3-14 but these idiots would still not select a QB.
So go Cowboys beat them Greenbirds baby!!!!

Honestly, I think I would trade out of the first round stockpile for next year's quarterback pick
trade Parsons, so we have lots of ammo.

I don't think we have to tank. I think we will just flat out lose no matter what. We are simply not good enough.

I thought 6-11 would be their record before all the injuries hit. Now I am not convinced they can beat anyone. 4-13 is probably where they will finish.

Not good enough. Let's shoot for 5-12.

Any true fan should hope they don not win another game but do hope to see some progress from some of the younger guys and see what Trey can do.

Actually we should all hope Trey does suck because we can not afford to keep him anyway!
