Oh yeah, sure. I'm right on it.
Maybe you're looking for this.

I just want people to see that you can be wrong on a message board, and it is ok, you don't lose your pride or ego. We are all wrong every so often.
There are many players who are said to be troublemakers early, but go on to being productive, Allen Iverson is a good example. He was in jail, but now he is a family man.
People can change. Players can too.
TEK2000;1106279 said:He spent the entire course of this thread "defending" his thoughts by stating he WOULD take a roiding Merriman and insinuating that Ware and the majority of the NFL are using steroids.
You think he deserves to be able to just change his mind and not get called out on it?
Deep_Freeze;1106300 said:Actually, I'm not talking about Mr. Bob Dole at all. I talking about the many that thought that Merriman was better. They can change their mind.
I'm not talking about Bob Dole cause he hasn't changed his mind, although I noticed he took some of my thoughts to help his cause, lol. That is not my intention.

superpunk;1106299 said:There's a difference in how people are wrong. It's really easy to see. You can be wrong about something you hoped for, and as long as you didn't berate the people on the other side, or act like a complete tool, everyone gets over it, and can act like mature adults and get over it. For example, I had a boner for Dwight Smith, and had some long discussions with people about him, then he went and got busted for something or other. Since it was all adults, and no trolls, and I didn't act like a complete *** when I was talkig about Smith, I got off with some "I was way off, you guys mentioned his character" and some ribbing.
Some people deserve much worse.

You guys never really believed the Ware was better than Merriman. You guys wanted to believe it and kept telling yourselves that but deep down inside you guys knew Merriman was playing on another level.
It turns out it was the roids that put him on the other level and now Cowboys fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they made the right decision.
As we all know the Cowboys fan sure as heck doesnt need ANOTHER star player involved in drugs...

Bob Dole;1106308 said:Wrong about what?
Bob Dole never said Merriman was a great character guy or that he wasn't a roider.
But this isn't going to make Bob Dole or any other Merriman fan admit that Ware is a better player.
Now, if Merriman comes back, roid free, and performs below the level of Ware, then Bob Dole will freely admit that.
Shuttemdown41;1106310 said:Nice Sig you have there buddy. S.T.A.R. unit? How bout BURN UNIT!!!??? I think Marvin Harrison just scored ANOTHER touchdown.
Shuttemdown41;1106316 said:Okay boys, the gig is up, all we have here is another spurned Merriman fan. Nothing to see here. Move along.
TEK2000;1106302 said:AHH.. My fault for misunderstanding who you were referring to.
EDIT: I would not call them out for their opinions prior to him being busted. Hindsight is 20/20 and those people made their opinions known PRIOR to him having tested positive and if they change their mind AFTER the evidence is shown, that's perfectly alright as many people WOULD do that. As would I if I had been one to think Merriman was the better player.
