You guys never really believed the Ware was better than Merriman. You guys wanted to believe it and kept telling yourselves that but deep down inside you guys knew Merriman was playing on another level.

It turns out it was the roids that put him on the other level and now Cowboys fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they made the right decision.

As we all know the Cowboys fan sure as heck doesnt need ANOTHER star player involved in drugs...

I think there are a good number of us who did, and still believe, that Ware was a better over all player and a similar pass rusher to Merriman. Merriman had more sacks, but it helped that he was not really the primary pressure player on his team. Ware is and has been the primary pressure player for us since we drafted him.

Not only was Shawne Merriman clearly the superior pass rusher but his hits fired up his entire team.

Now that Merriman has tested positive for steroids it doesnt matter and you guys obviously made the right choice. Even if Merriman comes back, gets off the juice and plays great for the rest of his career people will always doubt him.

No Archuleta didnt get benched today. He might have been subbed out of some packages but that was the original plan before Pierson Prioleau went down in the first play of the season.

Not to mention that the secondary has yet to play together this season. Injuries and Mark Brunell have absolutely killed us this year.

Who would you say is marginal talent? I dont consider marginal Archuleta marginal talent. He is excellent against the run and a great blitzer. Coverage was never his strong suit.

And dont say 30 million dollar contract. He is not going to see anywhere close to that much money. Seattle signed Nate Burleson to a 49 dollar million contract but he is not going to see most of that money either.
