It wasn't only at the end though. He was at camp, but isolated himself from his teammates. Rather than observing drills and engaging with coaches, he was sulking in the corner....literally. His back was bothering him and he was looking to seek an additional opinion. Ok cool. Understandable. Why not take mental reps and hang around for meetings to make sure that you're prepared for the opener?

What bothered me was his willingness to suit up for Green Bay without a second thought, after he looked for reasons to not suit up here. That's not what leaders do, and if he expected to make north of $45m annually in Dallas, he should have put in the effort to learn the new defense. He did not. You don't understand why people were critiquing his every move? Buddy, attitude reflects leadership. If a leader is acting like a clown on the sideline SLEEPING DURING A GAME, what message does that send to one of the youngest rosters in the league? That kind of attitude from a leader is poison. He forced his way out, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

He had to fight for everything he got and had Prescott just taken off instead of running and looking to pass the ball when Parsons was corrected with a sack, that sack would have never happened. We knew that a quick release, fast decisions were how to stop Micah Parsons. Other QBs have done it.

Dak's execution was solid. BUT it also cost Dallas two possible big passes (two possible TDs)

Dak had to get rid of the ball quick so his reads had to be faster. GP and Turpin were WIDE OPEN on two different plays going up the left side.

That's the price you pay to keep the QB upright. I don't fault Dak for it though. He did what he had to do.

I was really disappointed in that. He didn’t sleep, btw, and it was five minutes.

That being said, it was the final incident after months of provocation after provocation.

Did you watch the post game interview with Jerry? The host asked Jerry to confirm how the last few hours of negotiations with Micah and his agent went. Jerry confirmed that when Micah caught wind that they were working on a potential trade with the Packers, Micah reached-out to Jerry to try and work out a contract to remain with the team.

So that’s Jerry confirming Micah wanted to stay with the Cowboys.

I think Micah regrets it. I certainly could be wrong but I didn't see him smile once last night. Before the game he looked like his dog had just died. He'll get his sacks, and his money, but he doesn't look happy to me.

They paid him, so of course he suited up.

This is not a novel tactic exclusive to Micah. Emmitt did it…Zach Martin did it…et cetera.

Jerry shut the door on negotiating because he got his feelings hurt trying to negotiate directly with Micah. That’s well documented. Jerry cutoff contact for months…that’s well documented.
