Yah I don’t really care what other teams do.

And trying to pretend that Dallas is “just like everyone else” is a non starter.

Our owner does things no other owner does, and the team deals with things scrutiny and a spotlight that is unique.

In the end, talk is cheap, and talk is what this franchise has traded in for 30 years. Less talk. Less entitlement. More work, effort, and follow through.
Plenty of reasons to be upset about this team. This comment from Parsons shouldn’t be one of them.

I have zero problem with guys believing in themselves.

I just don’t think that has anything to do with this franchise’s addiction to talking as much as they do.

We just finished a horrid 7-10 season, AND ON THE SAME DAY WE PACK OUR BAGS, they are already talking about the playoffs next year?!

This team has not done anything in 30 years.

Do something on the field, and people will talk about you. You won’t have to talk yourself up
It's not like they come out of the locker room searching for a microphone. People are asking questions, and the players answer them.

12 sacks in 12 games I thought the year was a great success. Move on to the hold out. Sign the richest contract for a defender in NFL history. Everything is going exactly according to plan. What is this guy even on about?

His words reflect a mindset. The mindset reflects the culture. The culture flows downstream from the top and is a reflection of the leadership of the franchise.

It is one comment, from one leader on the team. But is it emblematic of the rot that continues to undermine the team nearly at every turn.

This is entirely untrue. Building his personal brand is his #1 goal. When he plays good and they actually win he excitedly jumps in front of every camera he can find. Sometimes when he stinks and they lose he will try to sneak away.

The man literally has a pod cast so he can have as much time in front of a microphone as he can.

I'm a bit surprised Parsons's words are still offending some posters. By now two things we know, this is who he is and he isn't going anywhere. It's apparent he's the kind of person that always going to tell you how he feels or what he's thinking. Like I have said many times, for me, as long as he's balling on the field and not breaking any laws, I have no problem with what he says. I'm 100% confident that if he offends teammates and/or coaches, they will address it.

IDK........you lost me a bit. He is the team's leader, especially with Dak out. So his reflections and comments after each game matter to fans. He speaks for the team and win or loses he still has his weekly podcast.

So the improvement comes just in time for his $40m contract? I'm more interested, especially as we've probably getting a new DC in how we build around Micah. Im an all-in on Micah, but his worth is just as much out of getter better results from the 'whole D' rather than him getting better utilizes his talents are the player to build around.

If McCarthy comes back Zimmer comes back.

And that's the betting favorite right now.

Yep, I think there's an obsession with Micah about his stats in 'big games', which comes (unfairly) in comparison to the arguments against Dak......the difference being Micah is the whole focus of the oppositions protection, he gets every bit of attention and the skill is not to just put him in a position to get stats/Sacks/Pressures, but to help facilitate the whole pass-rush. Im in the school that the pass-rush hunt in groups.....he's the leader of that group (a follow me, or i'm the leader who'll get you to the QB).

Lol “Dark Side”… nah. Just old skool I guess. I come from a generation where we didn’t get participation trophies and our egos massaged when we crapped the bed.

Do you like it when this team talks as much as they do when they haven’t done anything in 30 years?

I would rather them turn off the mics for awhile, and go to the gym, dedicate themselves to improving their craft, and show the NFL who they are by what they accomplish on the field and earn some respect for a change
amen: don't talk... walk the walk.

What gets overlooked is the attention he gets is creating opportunities for other players but for some reason, we are not seeing the impact.
