Love me some Parsons he is my favorite player but ya I agree sometimes he needs to at times tone down the rhetoric. I dont care if he has 50 sacks or 1 sacks. Neither have an impact on whats I feel is right or wrong on the social media platform. You can be a dog on the field without being a dipstik on social media.

It is what it is though this generation of players think its fashionable to talk crap with the media and its probably not gonna change much. and its just an annoying part of him Ill have to adjust to

...and stop commenting on social media about work-related issues? Every other day, there's a new story about what Micah has to say about whoever/whatever. Wish he would just shut up and play football, which - undeniably - he does extremely well. I just think he puts a lot of bad karma out there.
Let him be him he is NOT HURTING you himself or ANYBODY

He’s been doing this since week 3 of his rookie season, this is who he is, therefore this is who the cowboys are. Kindness and empathy do not belong in professional football I will ignore that you even wrote that.
Yes, a sad commentary on society today. Ignore all you like. Your lack of these qualities don’t affect me.

If you paid close attention. You would see that Micah actually is friends with and gets along with the players from the other teams.

He is just highly competitive and always wants to win.

He’s not like arrogant to the point of turning other players off or making them mad. He talks smack but then has good sportsmanship after the game is over and when they’re not between the lines.

I don’t really get a sense of arrogance from Micah. I get a sense of high competitiveness and desire to be as great as he possibly can.

I agree for the most part. HOWEVER , I wish he would show up in the playoffs. My son pointed this out to me. The last two years in the playoffs, I didn't see a whole lot of production out of him or anybody else on the team for that matter.

I don't know. On one hand I agree with you. But on the other hand when was the last time we had a leader like this on D? He transformed our defense. Let him talk his crap if that's what it takes to get everyone on board. Parsons sets the bar and let everyone follow his lead.

I agree, to a point, but how much talk is appropriate for a true leader?

How about fans stay in their lane and mind their own business about what a grown man does this is the social media age this is the Internet age this is how they grew up and this is how it is normal... How about this how hypocritical it is for fans to keep putting his name all over the Internet people talk about players all the time without them being able to respond or defend themselves and yet you don't like what they say on social media don't follow them block them you can block things on your feed so if it bothers you move on but this man backs up his talk he is what he is part of his mental makeup is being aggressive it's hard for him not to be aggressive when he's talking about games in opponents...
People say this about our owner it's everyone we are in the social media age and the fact that you're being a hypocrite because here you are right now talking about the man on the Internet.. You don't get to control what grown men do and I think people who think they can you know you you sit up here and you're judging a man and he doesn't even read these he doesn't care and he shouldn't..

If it became a problem we can deal with it but I don't think it is a problem because I think everyone in today's sports understands this is the age we live in....

How about everyone stops commenting on his social media commentating? It doesn’t affect his play on the field. Alpha dogs bite… and bark.
That were the case this place would have to be shut down because technically this is social media it's the Internet it's all-encompassing and this is just the era we live in and people need to stop judging people for doing the same thing they're doing right now Micah Parsons can't even read this and he can't even defend himself and people are using his name negatively.. What's the real point of these types of post I don't get it they can't read it nothing's gonna change you you don't agree with it and yet you like the man on the field or the man on the field is probably the same man that's posting in the Internet it's just his style it's what he does and if it keeps him playing at a high level and he's backing up his talk then I'm all for it..

It’s the times we live in, everyone under 35 is on social media 24/7. Deal with it boomer! Did I do that correctly? :muttley:
Right when a bunch of four year olds carry around iPhones and are on the Internet this is what happens when they grow up... I don't think people understand that this is just part of their everyday life now and it is what they're gonna do and griping about it online where they can't even read it and respond is ridiculous... I'd like this guy to sign up for one of Micah Parsons real Twitter or other social medias and call them out tell them to meet him in the parking lot so that they can have this little face to face discussion... :muttley:   :oldcouple:

Oh they did it last year they said he stopped making an effort and then he disappeared and then he wasn't putting up stats... In reality he was being stopped by two or three guys and helping the rest of our pass rush which is what happens he was responsible for just about every sack that happened the other night.. And yet he only gets the register one this is what happens in a lot of games he could have no sacks but then he should be credited for the others you know like an assist in hockey or basketball... Maybe they should add this stuff to the stat sheet since we're diving into all these analytics and what not

Right as if all our seventies 80s and 90s teams never had guys with egos that talked a lot I mean are you kidding me what were you watching... We've had guys all the way back from the 70s up till today that talked a lot but we just didn't know much about it because that would be newspaper articles or quotes that never even made it into fans ears.. This day and age where guys are falling around 24/7 and quoted everything that they do and they can't do anything without being bothered let them be who they are this is the age of the Internet and social media...

I'll admit I am not aware of all of the talk. I'm just looking for him to be pushing this defense. He may be talking too much for all I know. But nothing motivates more than public speaking. Jimmy Johnson said, put it in whatever inches, we will beat the 49ers.

We have a very good defensive team. It's not just Parsons. But Parsons is the leading force. Without him, we're a different team. He may only have had one sack, but he was critical in many plays. That roll out pick we got was a direct result of Parsons beating the center and flushing Jones to the sideline. That's just one play.

Stop being an “old crusty” bro. Do you understand how bad you just sounded. You think someone who “just shuts up and plays football” is going to command the richest contract in NFL history? It’s all part of it man. Catch up to 2023 please, you’re stuck in the 70-90’s. BTW, most people love how he talks. Go watch his podcast.

there are leaders of all kinds. many here used to complain ware was too quiet. they wanted more than someone who led by example only. they wanted someone to motivate players around them. there is no perfect person nor someone who will make everyone happy. i'm grateful we have a true difference maker from day one and will just enjoy that he's on our team.

some of the best players in our franchises history were bombastic personalities. i personally love it, especially as he delivers on the field as well.

Karma and the notion of some deity controlling outcomes is just copium. When he cannot back up his word let me know.
I'm an atheist...so who are you telling? Obviously the "gods" are a metaphor for "stuff happens" and people especially notice your "stuff" when you open your mouth to wide - see your post.
