The HOMERS think we got LT playing for us.
Not even close and most of his sacks are against weak offlines and QB.
This teams in general has fooled a lot of fans beating up on dogs.
Come playoff time where men are men ............Opps we s@@@ the bed again!!!
He plays against the same teams other pass rushers play against lol

How the heck you can sign CD, Dak, and Micah, with what Micah will be paid and still be able to compete is beyond me.

Yep, the odd man out seems and must be Dak...............Yes the Cap is a real thing.

Same way other teams do it

Micah gonna want 5 for 175 and hold out
I don't know if it matters to him who he plays for. But this isn't a good year to hold out if he doesn't plan on moving anytime soon. I don't think Jerry is extending anyone this year. That playoff loss gave him a pinched nerve. Any hold out will probably be traded post haste.

Yepper, can’t sign all 3 IMO. How many teams have #1 contracts at QB,WR and DL. Only team i can think of that is close is KC. They got Mahomes and Jones. Jerry has to make a decision.
He can sign all 3, just doesn't want to. I don't blame him either. The big cap hits wouldn't happen for several years. By that time other high paid players would be off the team, and the cap would be higher.

Hmmmm maybe we can get a a couple of first’s and 2nd for him. That contract is gonna steep for a player who disappears after the 10th game of the season.

If Dak is the odd man out and the Cowboys don’t come up with a viable replacement, CeeDee will never live up to his huge extension. Then fans will be complaining that his is just another bad contract. CeeDee and Dak have developed some good chemistry and it’s going to take a solid QB to maximize his contract. The Cowboys are facing a huge dilemma.
Got a feeling they’ll tag 88 and trade him if Dak is gone next year. They’ll give Micah the money unless the rumors are true about people inside the star being over him. I think we might be looking at a full reset if it plays out like that. Next 12 months are going to be very interesting.

I don’t see anyway possible they trade CeeDee if Dak moves on. They’re going to need a viable WR threat for our next QB to have any chance of succeeding.

I think the model to success is clear. You stop being attached to everyone with talent that comes your way. The only time you go all in on someone is a once in a lifetime QB.

Ceedee, is great, but how many top receivers have you watched in the last 10 years?

Micah is good, not great yet in my opinion, but how many other defensive badasses have you seen in the last 10 years?

I think the patriots showed everyone the way in the last 20 years. Get an amazing QB, and then focus the rest of your money on spreading around as much talent as you can. Do not spend the majority of your cap on 3 players.

The cowboys have so much draft capital, let Dak play out his last year, do not resign him. Draft a QB this year or next. Trade ceedee for top draft picks and trade Micah for top draft picks. Perfect rebuild time.

Problem is we have a gm that would rather sell jerseys than achieve a championship. That's why he doesn't get rid of people until past their due date or after we signed them to record breaking deals.

I agree with you, however I think to your point about not living up to the contract because of who will be throwing the ball that might give the Jones boys pause about handing out a contract. They seem to be digging in on these big contracts at this point.

If Dak were to be allowed to walk or agrees to be traded, they’ll have to pay CeeDee. I doubt the thought has even crossed the minds of the Joneses not to extend CeeDee, but it does appear moving on from Dak after the 2024 season has crossed their mind. Like I mentioned, the next QB is going to need a top flight WR to have any chance of being successful. If the Cowboys were to leave themselves without a viable starting QB and WR, they’ll end going nowhere until they address both positions. That could lead to a number of very lean years trying to fill both voids. It may take packaging picks at some point to move up in the draft to try and find a franchise QB.

As opposed to letting them walk and being bad for the next 5 years with no chance. Fun fact some chance to win beats no chance to win.
No chance to beat the Giants and D.C. and the rest of the dogs we have beaten to a pulp?
Amazing simply amazing.....................

"Because something did not work it means it was impossible to work". Please let me run into people who think like you when I go to the casino because it always makes for a good payout. Last year the Cowboys were a very good team with a massive hole at LB and ran into a team that could exploit it. Adding a massive hole into the offense makes the team worse and making teams worse tends to not be the road to getting to a championship.

Edit: should also note that they had wins against Rams, Lions, and Eagles or 3 of the other 6 playoff teams in the NFC so the idea of only beating the bad teams seems silly.
