Are you actually blaming Dez for the GB playoff game (the catch game)?.......wow! Maybe you forgot the tractor trailer hole Demarco Murray had in front of him, but fumbled, before you toss Dez out there.
That one broke my heart. And I mean near Jackie Smith proportions!

But our Board doesn't do that. The last GB game, all but the Sisters of Our Lady Church have slung rocks at Dak.

It is a bit balancing and accountable to see Micah catching heat too......at least for the last GB game too. I just hope the blame is not because he is up for a new contract only. Our Board posters take a turn when someone gets paid.
No...I think they did! :)

I remember people spouting the same S about DeMarcus Ware. Micah is the least of my concerns when he's getting double and tripled teamed constantly. That should free up someone else on the defensive line to eat. The two previous playoff losses, against the 49ers. The defense gave up 19 and 23 points. I believe you guys are barking up the wrong tree.

23-37 206 yards 1TD 2 Int = 13 points
23-43 254 yards 1TD 1 Int = 17 points

And please dont come back with Dak's garbage time stats vs the Packers prevent D in the second half.
You know it's funny you say this. I'm not disagreeing with you, someone should step up if Parsons is getting doubled and tripled team then someone should step up, but when someone points out Lawrence should be that guy (he had 4 sacks this season) every jumps to his defense

Not only that but his numbers are pedestrian after the first 12 games in each of his three seasons. He is worn down by the time the team is playing for division titles and playoff seeding.

Because Lawrence is our only linemen playing the run. If we had some DTs to take the pressure off him he might be able to rush the passer.

that's a lot of sacks for a guy making a boat load of money, but to be on the bright side, he was our best DL guy on the time this season

I agree. Lawrence is solid against the run and gets a lot pressures but doesn't make the impact plays. One player who has taken better advantage of Micah getting all the attention is Armstrong. The guy to me is a JAG but he's going to get paid this offseason and Micah has a good part of the reason why.

The best players that don’t show up when it matters? This who your defending?
Well considering 95% of the team doesn't show up when it matters................. you gonna criticize all of them too?

And it's not about defending. There are issues as to why we fail that go beyond the players.

True, but Lawrence could be better. Hell, Greg Ellis was at least good for about 8 sacks a season. Lawrence is averaging 5

Yes, but who is giving Lawrence a run for his money for playing time when it comes to getting after the QB? Sam Williams? I get the feeling if he were full time he'd be good for 2 offsides and 1 roughing the QB penalty per game. It's a rock and a hard place. Micah is great for most of the season and I wouldn't be against trading him and a package to Washington if we can get the #2 pick to take a QB we like. But without Micah that DLine would be horrid. What do you do?

Sure but DLAW is also one of the best run stopping DEs in the league. Nobody ever said that about Ellis. Ellis also played more like Parson as a 3-4 OLB. Before we switched to a 3-4, he was a first round bust and just an average NFL DE on some bad defenses. Parcels turned his career around.

I don't expect Cooper Rush to show up in the Wild Card game.

I expect Micah too.

In the GB game , it looked like for most plays, he was just mailing it in, not even trying.
But also I dont think he has been used properly.
Running out of gas at end of season, is that his fault or the coaches.????
Did we really need him on the field in some of the blow out games? Or should he have been in for 3rd downs only or not even play?
Same for some other players.
Save your better players for the games you actually need them?

Take a wild guess which team that came against?

That’s right. The 8-9 Bucs.

Some other interesting playoff stats:

He only has 8 solo tackles, 3 TFL, and 4 QB hits in his 4 playoff games.

This dude is basically a ghost in the playoffs.
I like this kid talent-wise.
Still young so he talks more than he listens.
You don't trade this kid but you surround him with a stud DT and LB and let him do his thing.
Yes, most of his stats are against weak QB and Offlines but he is all by himself out there.
Cut D-Law and save the cap $ he simply is not worth it.
I fear due to the Jerry culture this young man will never truly reach his potential.
