he is the Dak of the defense
No he absolutely is not. Offense game plan against Micah and refs rarely call holds against him. Micah’s off the ball explosion and power is absolutely insane.

Coaches limits the reads for Dak, because he can’t throw after his first read.

The Micah hate on this board and within this fanbase aint it.

I wonder if Cleveland fans are complaining about Myles Garrett having only 1 sack in all of his playoff games.

I wonder if Steeler fans are complaining about TJ Watt having only 1 sack in all of his playoffs

Parsons is obviously one of the main problems with the Cowboys

You guys really have your fingers on the pulse. Just trade Parsons for some picks and we're one step closer to a Super Bowl win, amiright?

Micah is a pass rush specialist and nothing else imo.
You make it sound like that doesn't mean much. Getting to/Pressuring the QB is a highly valued thing in this league, and Parsons may be the best pure rusher in the league in his mid-20's

But he talks too much on social media and hasn't played great in the playoffs (like the rest of the franchise hasn't for the last 25 years) so let's just trade him for some picks, amiright?

I am not sure which is dumber, the fanbase or the ownership

Maybe the best strategy would be to rest Micah for the playoffs. I don't mean in like Week 18, I mean Weeks 1 through 10 let his season start Week 11.

My target is players that don’t show up when it matters but are treated as royalty by “fans”.
Seems like we've had a lot of those players the last 25 years.

Almost like there is a common denominator. Like the franchise has had a toxic culture that doesn't allow it's player group to thrive at the end of the season or something.

But let's just keep blaming the players. Just trade Dak and Parsons for picks so we can draft more players to be developed in the same toxic culture. That will get us that next Super Bowl for sure

We’ve won with Jerry.

I don’t like Jerry either, but to keep using him to shield weak minded “leaders” that allow the toxic culture to take over and rule is the bigger problem.

Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Woodson, Haley, Jimmy…. Those guys didn’t allow it. They were real leaders. That’s why they won and had a culture of winning. They didn’t look for the easy way out or try to become a celebrity like the modern Cowboys do.

If you are an elite pass rusher but below average in everything else, just saying he has alot to work on. I’d like to see him be a more complete player. An elite dt on this team would help him immensely

I think someone posted the last 6 games of each season he has played he has like 4 sacks total. He wears down at the end of the season
Some of this is on Quinn. If he was blitzing from a LB at different gaps it would a lot harder to double and triple team him.

We won with Jerry almost 30 years ago, in a different era, before Jerry had imprinted his toxic personality onto the whole franchise. If Jimmy had never gone to Arkansas it's more than likely we would still be on 2 Super Bowl wins.

You are NEVER going to get that kind of leadership group in the kind of environment Jerry has led the Cowboys into. We have weak minded leaders because that is what Jerry's culture breeds! What is so hard to understand for some of you?

I mean. They put him against Trent Williams in 2 of those games. lol. That will skew anyones stats.

He isnt meant to play DE. Its very apparent when you look at his splits at the start of the season to the end of the season. Switch to a 3-4 and watch the change. They should have switched to a 3-4 after his first season. He isnt a 4-3 DE and never will be.
Actually in that first 49ers game they had him play traditional for some inexplicable reason. No he not a 43 DE. That’s why they have him playing and performing the function of 43 Under SAM LB and LEO!

He got 2 holding calls in the Packers game and still did squat. Supposedly that was holding him back.
Do me a favor and watch Parsons on the Aaron Jones TD runs. Note the complete lack of effort and disinterest.

Those leader/players were a product of Jimmy Johnson mostly. Since then Jerrah likes to hire soft errand boys like Garrett and McCarthy. The players love McCarthy and lobbied for him returning precisely because he is soft.

Ironically, the only time Micah’s name was called against Green Bay was when he got 2 holds called in his favor.

In the GB game , it looked like for most plays, he was just mailing it in, not even trying.
But also I dont think he has been used properly.
Running out of gas at end of season, is that his fault or the coaches.????
Did we really need him on the field in some of the blow out games? Or should he have been in for 3rd downs only or not even play?
Same for some other players.
Save your better players for the games you actually need them?
looked that way in the arizona game too, he knew they had a plan for him, we didn't have a plan so it was like man they got us, what else can i do

Nearly everyone on the team looked like that from the beginning which is why I say they mentally checked out to the off season the week leading up to the GB game. I know what I saw.

If you read their forums you would find out that some of them are complaining about that.

A lot of you need to get this myth out of your heads that Cowboys fans act any differently on the internet than other fans.
