Micah Parsons is not going to win DPOY

DPOY is at another level than pro bowler. How many DPOYs are there and how many pro bowlers? Not saying the guy isn't the best player on this team and probably top 15 in the league but he doesn't have the consistency to be #1. Also it doesn't really matter how many games you win if you don't win the ones and show up in the games that actually matter.

It seems like he starts off as the favorite the first month every season and then fizzles out of the frontrunner discussion for the award quickly. We can say what we want about pressure rates, he's doubled team, etc. but Garrett and Watt seem to consistently show up in the stat sheet and with impact plays for their team. Even Reddick had a masterclass performance against the Dolphinis. Those are the kind of games you look for Micah to have against better teams like SF & Philly but he hasn't delivered the last few meetings.

They need to move him around and let him play LB when teams are running. Looked like he got his sack last week from DT position. Quinn brought safety on blitz and tackle had to peel off the double team to pick him up and Parsons blew by the guard. Then was in his face on the next play that was an int. We just need to get these penalties down.

Can play almost any position on the field... Should. You can blitz a nickel corner on 3rd and 3, you can drop a DE into coverage. It surprises me that in DQ's diverse Defense, he hasn't found a way to move Parsons around. FFS, this dude played CB his rookie year.

I think our defense would be better if we stopped trying to pad his stats.

Parsons isn't Garrett, Watt or Bosa, but he is a chess piece..us playing him on the d-line makes our overall defense worse.

Maybe not "way too" early, but definitely "too" early.

Too much football still to be played.
