Region of sports influence I think they’re implying. It’s within “Philly Nation” or whatever you want to call it. Like how all of South Dakota is Vikings territory
Oh yea I get it. That's why in my original post I said he's more likely a Sixers fan since it's the only Pro team in the state.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
He said that he was a PA fan, not a specific team fan but it doesn't matter what team they grew up a fan of, they are loyal to the $.

People cry over anything lol.

I could see this being an issue if he was at a Philadelphia Eagles game while still playing for the Cowboys.

Is it possible Maxey is a Cowboys/Micah fan? He is from Dallas.

Dak in awe of shaking hands with a Super Bowl Champion!
Yeah....but surprisingly Patrick Mahomes approached Dakota Prescott???

Dak Haters are dismissed from the respectable discussion of Quarterbacking in the NFL until they have some Cultural Leadership Classes  :lmao:

Interesting story regarding State College, PA. In the early 50’s, the new President of Penn State University, Milton Eisenhower, wanted the town to change its name to University Park, a more fitting name, as Penn State had become a huge university. Citizens balked at changing the town’s name. So Milton decided to create University Park, by getting the campus its own US Post Office. He contacted his brother Dwight and he got his post office. The “town”, now next to the campus, is State College, PA. It has lots of bars.
I graduated from there in the 80's. Never once in my life called it University Park.

I graduated from there in 1978. I never called it University Park either. Nonetheless, that piece of trivia is true. President Dwight Eisenhower did the commencement speech to graduates in 1955. Nice to have relatives in high places, then, and now.

To me, a more interesting story about University Park is that the student council would show porn flicks (and admission was charged of course) at the Forum building (classroom building students took classes in) on weekends. There is some irony in the name "forum" as well LOL. Don't think that could ever happen today LOL

And for the record, just as many girls went just as guys, not that I would know...

I can vouch for that. I took the time to go to them myself. In addition to as many girls as boys in attendance, both genders paid more attention to the subject matter than when the Forum was used for classes. It would never happen again, but there was something entirely healthy about it.

I’m not a hater. Maybe Mahomes can rub off on Prescott

He is from PA. It’s a sixers playoff game.

There is nothing strange about it at all.

While this is true, don't think for a minute he wouldn't mind playing for the Eagles with that stacked defense if he gets the chance.

That goes for like 95% of the players in the NFL to be honest. They’ll play for the highest bidder and/or teams that are competitive.
