Rather be the fat guy on the computer than Bi-Polar Alpha trash that thinks taking advantage of others is cool or ok.

Keep it classy.

Luulz, what are you droning on about joining wars and taking advantage of others? You sound like an unhinged lunatic.

You have to see things the way he sees them.

On the season so far...

Parsons stats currently
23 Tackles
8 Tackles for Loss
8 assists
2 forced fumbles
7 sacks
2 passes defensed

Roquan Smith stats currently
48 Tackles
4 TFL
30 assists
2 Ints
2.5 sacks
3 passes defensed

Not really concerned about a stat correction honestly.

You pick your poison, Im glad we have Parsons, but Smith is worthy of accolades as well.

Yeah the mechanics of a sack isn't in the rulebook which is weird. In the article, the "designed as a run" part is counter to the rules that state a QB can drop back to pass, get pressured, escape the pressure and then "clearly become a runner" so I think this is just generalized definitions and language that doesn't get into the nitty gritty of it all.
What qualifies as "clearly a runner"? Does that mean there's absolutely no doubt that he's never going to throw the ball, or does it mean he's running away from all his receivers, or does it mean whatever the field officials want it to mean?

That same language was in versions of the catch rule over the years but here I think it's just a judgement call as to whether they think a QB has given up hope on completing a pass and is just going to make a run for it. Looked to me like that's what Goff was doing but that's the nature of a judgment call where no two people will agree at times.

If a QB is running an option and gets tackled it wouldn't be a sack. Likewise, a designed run up the middle. If you QB is sitting in the pocket and it collapses and makes a run for it, then it would be a sack.

Clearly MP tripped his left leg for the sack. If MP doesn't trip him, he doesn't go down and gains plus yards on this play. Good correction by NFL!
