Drafting a wr from Okie state is like drafting a RB from Michigan.

Just stay away...

:hammer:

Rashaun Woods...1st RD 31st overall to 49ers. CRAP
Hart Lee Dykes....1st RD 16th overall to Patriots. CRAP

I'm just curious, everything I've seen puts him as one of the top 3-5 draft talents.

If thats the case there is no advantage to going back down. If hes a mid round pick or not a first round pick of course go back. It just really looks like hes likely a top 5 or top 10 pick at worst.

He knows the Cowboys don't have a 1st rounder this year to trade for him, so he will wait until next season. :D

Enjoy every minute of it. Do you go to SU? I grew up in upstate NY myself.

they need to go back to being the Orangemen....ever since they changed their name to Orange....they have completely stunk. It doesnt help that their AD is a complete tool....Still, they will always be the Orangemen to me.

He red shirted as a Freshman. So this is his 3rd year of College. He might be able to graduate.

Also, some people are just plain smart. Take Josh Pastner who played basketball here at Arizona. He got his Bachelor's degree in 2.5 years and in another 1.5 years he got his Masters.
I was wrong on this. Pastner got his Masters in 1 year after the Bachelors.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2000/03/11/archive/main170977.shtml

The lone senior honored in the Wildcats' final home game was reserve guard Josh Pastner, who serves as a sort of player-coach and played the last 25 seconds. Pastner, who has his sights on becoming a college head coach by age 28, earned his bachelor's degree in 2 1/2 years and got his master's a year later.
I wish he was the Head Coach of the Wildcats replacing Lute Olsen.

Jones will run this team into the ground if he keeps chasing primadonna WRs instead of building the team from the inside out.

Ok where did that come from?

I personally know the guy he is in one of my classes, one of the most down to earth guys I have ever met. If there is one thing he is not, is a prima donna. Unbelievable.

Announced today he is returning to Texas Tech next year for his Junior year.

Just so you know, the Cowboys are very high on this kid. It would not shock me at all to see them try and get him in 2010 and I mean pay a lot.

Hos, I like Crabtree a lot, I like 'em Uh lot. I have been telling a Giant, skins, and a bear fan at work for the past 2 seasons that we will get Crabtree when he comes out.

But Dez Bryant is no slouch, Hos. He would be a great pick as well.

I wasn't putting Bryant down. Just goofing on HH. An old debate between he and I.

We played against Dez Bryant in high school, and he is no doubt good he developed into a top tier college wideout.

But Crabtree is in a league of his own. The way he manhandles corners is amazing. Just watch the film. I know I watch it in person but watch the film if you don't believe me. His blocking is intense as well. What I wouldn't give to see him wear the star.

I understand Mike said he would return to Tech, but I will believe that when the report comes mid-January stating something to that effect.

My money would still be on Crabtree making the declaration he's going pro.

You're joking right? Bryant was quiet as a church mouse against Texas Tech. Crabtree is the best WR in all of college football.

If it makes any difference, his dad told the Dallas Morning News that no decision has been made but that they are "leaning heavily toward coming out".

That spells trouble. A lot of players say they are coming back during the season just to flip it once its over.

And this comes the same day Harrell says theres a very good chance Leach will leave. Not a good day in Lubbock :(

Dez in my mind is the best reciever in the country. Crabtree is good as well but I think Dez is better. The only reason why Crabtree is getting most of the hype is because of what he did last year and Dez just exploded this year. Most people I have talked to from different schools who have seen both in person have all said that Dez Bryant was better. Crabtree is mostly singe covered due too their system with other solid recievers and Dez is the only WR on his team so he gets double coverage. Again this is not a knock on Crabtree what so ever.
