1000%.....but if you can't consistently do it during the regular season, why would we expect anything different for postseason. In other words, name one player on this team other than Parsons and Martin, who played every game like they were top 5.

because of McCarthey---no one fears him....first year he was not allowed to bring OC...Jerry said we keep K Moore...second season after the worst DC in history Nolan...Jerry said i will bring in DC Quinn

McCarthey only job is to promote discipline....we were worst in football in penalties...no discipline....McCarthey horrible clock managment....a huge part of our problem is McCarthey...dump him

keep Quinn...you can dump Moore too....why did team abandon pre-snap motion to confuse defense?.....we had the talent to go far....and completely unprepared to play 49ers whom we should

have beaten...so sick of Jerry and his love affairs with coaches and players.......every person we over paid gave no dividends ...Zeke..DLaw......had no choice but overpay Dak...because Jones

stupidity to try and undercut the market until too late....Zeke is now a liability...but to cut him would be excess of 20 million dead money...so keep him but use Pollard as # ! back until next year

cut Zeke and pay Pollard...( he has little wear and tear because of under-use )...and elevate Rico Dowdle the dude is a beast.....get rid of DLaw always either hurt or underperforms...yes i am sitll

so angry at cowboys...it will take a while

The playmaker is right. Unfortunately the last offensive player we had that was cut from that cloth, fans couldn't wait to run out of town. Dak, Cooper, Zeke, Lamb, they aren't having those kinds of conversations pre-game. Micah's probably the only one with that dog in him but he's just a rookie.

I couldnt agree more. But then the 90's line would go out and destroy the opposition every game.

Emmitt and Irvin dont win a single playoff game the way the Cowboys Oline played against SF.

I think both would tell you that the entire offense starts with the Oline.

Maybe Irvin should tell Jerry to let the HC choose the OC when he hires them instead of forcing one on them.
Jerry did this to Wade and to MM.

love how you inserted Moore---perfect...i want to know why did we abandon pre-snap motion to confuse defenses?.....its like Moore turned into Linehan...we have so much star power and utilized

little of it.....now unfortunately Moore is a Clown along with McCarthey....keep Quinn...but NO...Jerry's love affair with his underperforming coaches and players...and Jerry will never die

he will be a 100 still trying to run the show from his super yacht worth over quarter billion....guzzling blue label Johnnie Walker at 400 a fifth...so so so angry right now and its been almost 5

days....now all i want is to have Bucs LOSE so Brady dont get # 8....and i hate Rogers QB too.....but hate 49ers more....both Brady and Rogers are GOATS i know that....but all my anger has

to be directed at some of these teams

You can't pick the exception to the rule and say there's no rule. Star players are the ones that take you through a season. Of course they won't show up in every game, but those games are the exception. Otherwise they wouldn't be star players.

Irvin is right. These guys give the role players enough security to shine every now and then. Heck, I loved Harper in those days, but he could only do what he did because there was an Irvin on the other side.

That's the way it is.
Sounded to me like Irvin was the one cherry picking. He wasn't all poop on a cracker when Dak was setting records the week before against the Eagles scrubs. He was probably on the NFL Network pounding his chest. Maybe he's hit the pipe one too many times if he thinks Zeke is a star or the reason why Dallas had a 12 win season. Maybe he missed the non-NFC East games in the latter half where Dak didn't perform particularly well. Is he just now noticing how Cooper vanishes for games at a time? I'll concede that they take up a big chunk of the salary cap, but a "role player" like Schultz had more yardage than Zeke in most games the second half of the season. Where was his alarm then?

Michael Irvin seems to be confused. He thinks Zeke, Lamb, and Dak are stars. They're only stars because they play for the Cowboys.

None of them is top 6-7 at their position. If they played in Jacksonville, no one would care.

I never get the feeling we are a close knit team, think it;s bunch of individuals doing their thing. Never really see Dak or Zeke doing much when on the sideline. No ..."hey, what the hell is going on here, let's go get it going grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~~~~~ We see Dak staring at a tablet, see Zeke just hanging out.

Agree! I thought we were in trouble preCoin flip when I saw the 49ers run out. They were talking and laughing and had confidence. Even Jimmy was yelling and pumping his fists. They were ready to come into our house and win. We ran out between the cheerleaders…and nothing really. Blah. We have alot of guys who talk big and don’t deliver

Is it the players or the scheme and coaching that is the problem? I think the players want to win, but I am not sure they are put in the position to win by the coaches!

The 90s Cowboys including OL initially struggled and eventually won big games together.

They would have defeated the 49ers because they would have to use a 8 man front to stop Emmitt.

If they used a four man front, Emmitt would have feasted.

Irvin sounds like he's just puffing out his chest and trying to come across as the macho tough guy. Many Super Bowls have been won by role players making the difference. In his very own Super Bowl XXX, Emmitt put together a paltry 18 for 49 (2.72 yards/carry) stat line. Sure, he ran in 2 TDs from the 1 and the 4, but if it wasn't for players like Larry Brown with the picks, it's a much different outcome. Did Tom Brady light it up when the Pats won the Super Bowl with 13 points? Sony Michel had 94 yards rushing and the only TD. The Chiefs have won several playoff games with big contributions from guys that are way down on the payroll. Did Peyton Manning and his star power win that Super Bowl for the Broncos? If you have a coach that exploit matchups, even if they aren't the guys on the TV promos, you are much better off.
He is not bragging.

He and Emmitt are cut from a different cloth.

Basically, they are stating we are going to dominate today because if we do not; our post season would be cut short.

And if they did not and lost; Jimmy would have ripped into them and the rest or the team.

And the 90s Cowboys did indeed dominate under Jimmy Johnson.
