If Irvin really wants things to get better then maybe call out Jerry Jones. Until then I don't care what he has to say.

Tom Brady wouldn't win titles here as long as that tumor in the owner's box is calling the shots

Irvin sounds like he's just puffing out his chest and trying to come across as the macho tough guy. Many Super Bowls have been won by role players making the difference. In his very own Super Bowl XXX, Emmitt put together a paltry 18 for 49 (2.72 yards/carry) stat line. Sure, he ran in 2 TDs from the 1 and the 4, but if it wasn't for players like Larry Brown with the picks, it's a much different outcome. Did Tom Brady light it up when the Pats won the Super Bowl with 13 points? Sony Michel had 94 yards rushing and the only TD. The Chiefs have won several playoff games with big contributions from guys that are way down on the payroll. Did Peyton Manning and his star power win that Super Bowl for the Broncos? If you have a coach that exploit matchups, even if they aren't the guys on the TV promos, you are much better off.
You completely missed the point, the triplets always showed up at some point in the playoffs. The stars on this team couldn't even show up for the 1st round this past weekend.

The star of the Cowboys WR group is not Lamb, it is Cooper and while Cooper was far from lights out he did have 6 catches for 64 yards on 10 targets. The fact that Lamb had 1 catch on 5 targets tells me why he was not targeted more and why he just is not the guy. He is in the role player group with the rest.

1000%.....but if you can't consistently do it during the regular season, why would we expect anything different for postseason. In other words, name one player on this team other than Parsons and Martin, who played every game like they were top 5.
:hammer:That's exactly where Belichick excels. He even gets the primadonna's playing 100% as does Arians. Jerry needs to clean house with OUR overpaid under performing players & no more huge contracts. Let them walk!

That is after defeating the 49ers the previous two NFCCGs and after the 49ers went on a spending spree signing free agents (including Ken Norton Jr) to counter the Cowboys.

Of course Jimmy Johnson was not coaching that team.
And A guy name Deion Sanders..they showed unbelievable heart that game and fought back.shut the 49ers down in the 2nd half ..robbed by a PI no call ..not like the trash from this past sunday..clown show

excuses for them sure LMAO..same

its exactly the same stars can co e up short make mistakes and as that team's talent level dropped and inures happened, they loss. Same with most teams. they couldn't overcome their mistakes in that game same as this 2021 team lost by 6 shows how good we actually could have been short of 14 penalties and the OL couldn't do their job consistently.

this team has to overcome beating themselves before they can beat a good team in the playoffs, its a fine line.

After watching Kurt Warners film breakdown, you can see that on offense, it was a combo of poor play calling and poor execution. Especially on Dak.

I think you missed the point. "At some point" means that during the games that they didn't "show up", the non-stars helped carry the team to victory.

I won't argue that Dak, Zeke and others didn't have a good game against the Niners. I have a feeling that with a little more discipline from the rest of the roster and some better coaching they still could have won the game. A great deal of credit for the win would have gone to those that aren't on Irvin's star list.

The problem is Jerry is the guy who overpaid them. Getting rid of them would be publicly acknowledging that he made mistakes.

We know Jerry's ego has a difficult time with that. He's more apt to double down on a mistake (JG) hoping to still be proven right.
