You do realize Michael Jackson did more then just entertain people? He is in the Guinness World Records for his support of 39 charities.
The guy literally gave many hours and countless millions to charities.
Heck, even President Ronald Reagan reconized his charitable efforts.
I gave credit earlier where credit was due. I gave him his props.
But I personally never received any "on the ground" benefit from the man except for entertainment. And, I'd venture to guess that that's the truth for over 99% of the people on the planet.
All I'm saying is that Micheal Jackson (supposedly) died yesterday, and today I got up and my world didn't change one scintilla. I hate to say it, but the day after Dallas lost to Philly last year, same deal. Outside of my entertainment value, it REALLY has no real-time impact on my life. My family, my mortgage, my health, my money, etc............It's something I watch on a 15" by 36" screen.
The Cowboys have a little more to do with my disposition and attitude, but you get the point.
