When Anna Nicole Smith died, though it wasn't as big as Michael's, she got coverage for weeks and she was not even that famous.

When Elton John, Paul McCartney, Liz Taylor, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan etc etc die, it will be HUGE, especially Muhammad Ali.

so all of them are going to have their coffins placed in a sports arena? riiiiiiight

I'm suprised that you don't believe that the suddeness of his death has people's emotions running higher than normal

and no fan is going to threaten, or actually commit suicide if any of them die, I can assure you of that

I think Jordan will be huge. Paul McCartney maybe. The rest will get maybe a day's worth of coverage. Nothing like this.

Michael Jackson was aquitted of all charges, even Bill O'Reilly was making this point.

[/Insert the cliched "But OJ was also acquitted" response here]

Just like everyone on this earth, the guy had demons. However, he did alot of good, so I am not going to judge him, that is for someone else to do.

No he wasn't aquitted. He settled the three suits out of court. There is a huge difference. If O'reilly said that, he was wrong.

So if a guy does "alot of good, it excuses his "demons"? OK. I don't see it but OK.

As for someone else judging him...If you are talking about a righteous judgment then yes, but if you are talking biblical principle, you are wrong. We are called to judge the fruit.

The self-righteous anti-MJ types are getting pretty annoying. More so than the faux fans. And that's pretty bad.

I'm not anti MJ. I am anti stupidity. Forcing a broke state to spend 4 million dollars it doesn't have to glorify a pedophile is stupid.

The first accusation, he wasn't ever charged.

The second accusation, he was charged and found not guilty.

You've argued for days now about Michael Jackson and you've shown that you know so little about the guy. It's amazing how many people will argue about something they know nothing about. Just to argue, I guess.

With respect to ANS, she got coverage for the curiosity factor. She wasn't glorified as MJ is. Though strange you mention this because the same type of thing that killed her killed MJ. Odd how that works huh?

I agree with Ali. It will be huge.

That was 1993. As recently as 5 years ago he settled out of court on the exact same charges. Seems like some people only want to argue a single point if it fits their agenda. And everything I mentioned int he other thread about him was backedup by facts and stats. And that was in relation to him and Elvis. MAybe you need some pills to help you remember things a bit better.

Trey Lorenz. He sung on the original Mariah Carey version.

He even had a CD. I actually have it.
Yeah I remember Trey was the next big thing after everybody heard him sing. Him and Tevin Campbell both could sing but their careers didn't last long.

Ali will be huge especially with the athletes because of his influence on a lot of them.

I just don't see it. And I'm a huge boxing fan. Sure he'll get coverage, the OxyClean guy got coverage, but it won't be huge.

Then what are you moaning about? You seem to think this was just fine since you decided to attack my position on it.

I'm moaning about exactly what I said -- the self-righteous people that go around screaming pedophile when the guy was never convicted.

His sister said he would stay in a room with children for days at a time. MJ himself admitted he slept with children that were not his own. He was accused on several occasions of child molestation. He paid off the accusers. With all of that, you don't think he did it? OJ was never convicted either. (Shout out to Mick!)

I don't know if he did or not. He wasn't convicted, though, after what seemed to be a rigorous investigation and trial. So obviously people with closer knowledge than you or I don't think he did beyond a reasonable doubt.

I know he's odd. That's obvious. And I know that being odd, he gets under the skin of most intolerant people.

Umm, you realize that the reason he was acquitted was because the child didn't testify. You also realize MJ paid him off, right?

And Odd is one thing, heck Elvis was odd as well and I liked him. I think odd people make the world interesting. But when you go to extremes like sleeping with children and paying off those who accuse you, that's beyond odd.

EDIT:
Here's just one instance...

I don't see how you can be certain either way. I think it might have something to do with the accuser and other witnesses telling conflicting stories. That and there not actually being any physical evidence. I'm not certain, though.

You also realize MJ paid him off, right?
No, I didn't realize he paid him off. Do you have anything to support this? You seem to get your facts all wrong anyway, so it's not surprising if you'd be wrong here. You thought there were 3 cases (only 2). You thought he wasn't acquitted (he was). You thought he wasn't a "musician" (he writes his own music). Just a bunch of ranting about something you know very little about, it seems.

And Odd is one thing, heck Elvis was odd as well and I liked him. I think odd people make the world interesting. But when you go to extremes like sleeping with children and paying off those who accuse you, that's beyond odd.
Yeah, I get that you're convinced and on some uber-annoying personal crusade. Good luck with that.

First if you choose to believe he was innocent then fine. So is OJ.

Second you may want to read the first sentence..
http://www.smh.com.au/news/people/j...1157222107403.html?page=fullpage#contentSwap1

Third, here is the third case:

PDF dated 2005

http://www.onpointnews.com/docs/kapon.pdf

That makes 1990, 1993 and 2005. 1+1+1=3

And I never said he wasn't a musician. I asked if he wrote his music or played an instrument because I didn't know. You seem to make more out of things than they are.

And I am on no crusade other than to opine over the silly expenditure on someone of Jackson's ilk in a time when we are in such a bad economy, especially in California.

And if it's so annoying why do you continue to read. All that is happening here is you are giving me more opportunity to prove my point.
