If Sam clears I think there is a chance he could be brought back, really depends on what the coaches see and think of his ability.

My reaction is its the number of SDE candidates ahead of him and they wanted this WDE guy more. If you believe Broaddus, Michael Sam was making progress on his technique and strength training and had a shot at a late season callup if the spot was available. I wouldn't be surprised to see him signed to a futures contract once the season ends.

If he gets another shot, I hope Tebow gets another shot. Tebow actually had a winning record as a starting QB, including a playoff win.

Tebow is history in the NFL. Sam probably is to. Tebow had a few chances and couldn't cut it.

I thought Toomer. If anything he was probably a second opinion it Lawrence couldn't come back the way they wanted and apparently he's surprising, so this made Sam expendable, so Lwarrnce is available next week or he can be activated this week? Troy Davis is a Weak side DE.

I think Dallas took a look at Sam, didn't ultimately like what it saw and replaced him with Davis.

I don't think Lawrence had anything to do with it.

I don't agree that Tebow couldn't cut it. I DO think, however, that his usefulness as a QB would mean constructing a different kind of team and one, that while being able to win some games, would probably never win a SB. I don't think people were willing to do that. But it doesn't matter, as you say, I doubt either of them sees the NFL.
