I am listening to 980 ESPN in DC and Michael Wilbon is now claiming that the Saints are a fraud.

Also, they said the Saints/Cowboys game drew 10.5 Million viewers, which is the most in NFL Network History.

But back to Michael Wilbon. It was only a matter of time before you heard the "Saints weren't really that good anyway" excuse and it is complete nonsense. You don't win 13 straight games in the NFL and not be a good team.

I heard that Sunday on ESPN also. It is typical, and truthfully that is why I thought Dallas had a chance because NO had been sqeaking by the past couple of games.

They are a very good team that can score in bunches and no lead is safe. No way they are overated but definitely beatable.

I am hearing a lot of excuses on this Monday for the Saints and not enough credit for the Cowboys. I am listening to Cowherd and he is saying that the Saints are tired from a grueling schedule of like 4 games in 20 days and it is Week 15 and they were just bogged down. Wilbon is just a hater period. He predicted us to go like 6-10 or 7-9 something like that before the season started.

I cannot wait until Doc Walker hits the airwaves in DC. I'm sure he is going to have all kinds of excuses as well.

Gawd this is the best time of the year!!!

The Saints are frauds..Say what you want, that team is not a superbowl caliber team - PERIOD. I said it before Dallas beat them on Saturday. Now do not get me wrong, the Saints are a damn good team and I am not taking anything away from Dallas' Victory. It was arguably the best all around performance by the Cowboys in years. What I am saying is that the NO Saints will NOT win the NFC. So when I say they are frauds, all I am saying is they are not as good as many thought they were but they are still a very good team. Their defense is just not good enough to win in the playoffs.

Of course.

Did you hear the crappy Christmas song he made about us and debuted it on Friday?

He has no choice to make excuses every time the Cowboys win because it completely blows away his agenda.

its stupid to say that they are a good team, but i can see why he said that they arent as good as they were hyped up to be. Thats exactly why i thought we would beat them.

Not sure.

The only reason I have some doubts is because they will have home field advantage and teams will have to beat them in the Superdome with that crazy and loud crowd.

I really felt if the NFCCG they played at Soldier Field would have been in the Superdome, they would have went to the Super Bowl that year.

Their offense can make up for their defensive deficiencies. They will play at home all through the playoffs. If they possibly had to face weather conditions through the playoffs their D would be a bigger issue but at this point and when the playoffs start I would bet they will be the odds favorite to go to the Superbowl and I think rightfully so.

Wilbonehead would rather cut his own throat than give the Cowboys credit for doing something no one gave them a chance to do. I'm not impressed with him at all. Too bad he even has a voice.

A fraud is someone or something that pretends to be something they are not.

Wilbon pretends to be a knowledgeable sports authority, and repetitively shows that he is not. Fraud? Check.

Do the Saints pretend to be a playoff team? Uncheck. Do the Saints pretend to be a SB contender? They have the best offense in the league and most likely will have #1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Uncheck. Their record is 13-1. Are there 13 victories an illusion? Uncheck.

So, what are they pretending to be Mr. Fraud Wilbon?

Odds on favorites? Possibly. Does homefield advantage help out? You bet, especially considering they play in the superdome. However, they will run into a team, much like they did on Saturday, that will punch them in the mouth and control the football. Mark my words, they will NOT win the NFC. There are just too many teams they need to avoid for it to happen. The Vikings will roll on them, even in NO (yes I saw their game last night lol) The Cardinals and Eagles are probably teams that can give them a good run for their money and we all saw what Dallas did to them. Green Bay is probably the team that NO matches up the best with.
