You know what they say about "ifs" and "buts". The fact was that the Cowboys played a near perfect game and the Saints played a mistake laden game and still had a chance to tie it up at the end.

I have a problem with this statement. It is simply not true.

Your mistakes were forced. You did not just give it away. When a QB gets hit like that 4 times when he does not see it coming - there is nothing given or mistake laden - that is just getting beat or steamrolled!

And the FACT is that if our FG kicker does not miss an extra point - you have no chance to win that game. There is no biogger mistake in that game than that FG miss - period!

Geez! You are hung up on some semantics? The Cowboys beat the Saints. The Cowboys played better than the Saints. The Cowboys played, in my opinion, as close to a perfect game (FG miss aside) that I have seen them play this year. The Saints played a game with more mistakes than I have seen them play this year. If you are somehow thinking your Cowboys are getting some sort of disrepect out of that then I think you need turn turn your sensitivity meter down a few notches. I would hope you had enough self esteem in your support for your team to avoid such paranoid thoughts.

Seriously, relax. Your team played great and won. That is supposed to be a positive.

I wouldn't call all Saints fans frauds, but there are quite a few out there. You can always tell the frauds apart from the die-hards.

Most frauds start a conversation by saying, "I've been a Who Dat fan for (insert years)!"

Then you ask them to name some of the starters on today's team, and they can't name them aside from Brees, Bush, and Shockey. Some of them have called WWL AM in New Orleans complaining about the fact that Mike McKenzie didn't play Saturday night. Hello! He did play. Did you watch the game?

I'm actually from Louisiana, and it is amazing how many so-called Saints fans have emerged this year out of nowhere.

Now calling the Saints frauds, that is simply mind-boggling. They are a great team.

...and there are many like you out there, as with all NFL fan bases. To me, a fan is one that can't sleep the night before big games, can't eat during the game, often watches the game alone, and yes, can name every player on the roster (active and inactive). It isn't the casual one that watches the game out of the corner of their eye. Can name only a few star players. Yada yada.

Having spent most of my life in Louisiana, I do hope for success for the Saints. I have family that was impacted by Katrina, and I have a lot of love for the city of New Orleans.

I just want them to lose when they play Dallas. :)

Nope. Reggie was in the starting lineup. Not sure what he meant.

Guilty as charged to all counts. :p:

My wife always watches in the other room. I sit in the middle of the room, by myself, on an ottoman (no need for a chair back) directly in front of the 52" HD and Sunday Ticket.

When you talked about the Saints prior to the game, you talked about how great Gregg Williams has been and how Saints fans have "come to expect turnovers," clearly implying that Williams' scheme was forcing the turnovers.

Now that the game is over, your tone suggests that the Cowboys benefited from Saints "mistakes" rather than the Cowboys forcing some turnovers of their own. If you can't recognize that as being condescending and ingracious, you should dial your sensitivity meter up a few notches.

Regardless, Cowboys fans need no pat on the back from Saints fans. I'd be happy if you all just went away until the next beatdown is imminent.

The Saints clearly did not force the mistakes that they had been forcing all year long. You have to give Dallas credit for that. The Saints also committed more mistakes than they have all year long. You have to give Dallas credit for that, as well.

We have come to expect turnovers and it was disappointing that we were unable to force those types of mistakes on the Cowboys behalf.

I really don't see were your problem is.

I don't have a problem with anything you said. You seem surprised that other posters might feel slighted by the connotation of your posts. I'm just trying to clue you in.

You seem like a nice guy, even if you are a little intoxicated by the Saints' success this year.
