I really dislike that show, but this morning my son got up real early and wanted to lay on the couch, so I was watching that.

The best part was Linda Cohn came on after their picks. She was like mad that golic picked Dallas. You could see the angst in her face.

She went off on a romo and cowboys bashing tantrum. She said romo gets a free press and if he had to play in a city like new york he wouldnt be liked because he doesnt care about football!! She went onto say that he is too worried about his celebrity girlfriend and his golf handicap to ever win in the league and that there was no way the cowboys go to the superbowl. She had this tone of hope in her voice when she said someone will trip them up!

It is amazing to see how hated this team is. I guess her open love for the giants explains why she made snide comments during our highlights on espn news the next morning all last year. I will never forget her whining about us beating buffalo the next day.

Anyway, She kept on yapping on how romo cant win a playoff game and isnt dedicated and golic cut her off saying, Romo is an excellent qb and player...she then started well what about the playoffs what about the playoffs?

lol. I wonder what she thought of eli manning going into last year.

and would be too hard for the national media to do some homework and realize romo played golf every offseason since he has been on the team in 03. He has played the us open qualifier every year and has played in small tournaments in wisconsin every year. To hear her using that as a reason for romo not being good, means that romo definitely is a great qb. Pretty sad.

anyway. Sorry for rambling. I just found her angst to be comical, not as comical as her lack of knowledge but still funny. The guy has played in 26 games and they are attacking him cause he hasnt won a superbowl. Too funny.

someday hopefully romo will win a superbowl and I fully expect the linda cohns of the world to then complain about what he didnt do in the super bowl even though they were there and or hopefully won.

Only you, Velvet Jones, only you. I suggested that if Favre chose to stick to his guns and was bound and determined to go to the Vikings, he could have essentially forced that trade.

And the fact that potentially trading him to the Vikings DID come up in discussions at the Packers organization proved that I was right. As opposed to you, who simply parroted what the media was telling you about how there was "no way" Favre could be traded to the Vikings. Linda Cohn hates us. I remember last year, when everybody on espn was picking her giants over us, in last years playoff game, she was downright giddy. I would love to return the favor to her team this year and watch her on espn after.:giants:

This statement always irks me cause the guy has only had 2 attemps at the playoffs in as many years as a starter. That's no time at all as a starting NFL QB. They're totally ignoring the fact that's it's a HUGE accomplishment that he got his team there in just 2 yrs as a starter. They make it sound like he's played in tons of playoff games and never won one. Unbelievable to me!!!
