Mike Florio has heard the Cowboys talked to Tennessee about the #1 pick

It will take some real mojo to pull this off
* I can't imagine it happening w/o Parsons as part of the package
* Wonder if It could also be a top 4 team instead of the Titans
* Only the Pats would make sense if Parsons involved
* Keep in mind Stephen refused to close the door on a Parsons possible trade. I don't see it happening but having THREE PLAYERS with the highest positional contracts on a team barely above 500
If the move is for Hunter I could see them using Diggs or Bland as trade pieces. #12, Bland, and next years 2 or 3 is a reasonable offer. Don't know if Tennessee would bite, but if they did, it clears the way for Diggs/Hunter at corner without having to worry about paying another corner big money for a few years.

If Parsons is the trade piece, I would hope for more than just 1 pick for compensation unless the FO views Hunter as the next Deion Sanders. Hunter at 1, Jeanty at 12, address the DL in the second and 3rd, as well as free agency with the money you clear with Micah leaving. Could be a clever way of infusing the team with young talent and taking another $35m+ contract out of the equation.

Stupid rumor that I hope is not true.

It would take trading Parsons to go that high, and I don't see a single player worth that. None of the QBs are good enough, Hunter has two positions, and Carter is just a younger Parsons.

Parsons is on a HOF trajectory and just entering his prime. We'd be trading him away for a player, likely Hunter, that is completely unproven.

First, I wouldn't trade Parsons. But if they did then this is what I would do, Parsons and #12 for #1, 1st in 2026, 3rd in 2025, then trade #1 to Las Vegas for #6, 1st in 2026, 2nd and 3rd in 2025. With #6, then I take Mason Graham DT, who is most likely one of the 5 best players in this draft.

Of course, if Travis Hunter fell to #6, then definitely taking jim.

Not a single player in this draft is worth trading up to the #1 overall pick from #12 to grab. It would take a king's ransom to do so, and you would only do that for a QB. Neither Ward or Sanders are worth that kind of move.

It's not worth it to move up that high. I wouldn't mind moving up a couple spots though if we could get Mason Graham. I want him on our team so bad, but he's probably going to the Jets.
I scrolled through looking for this comment because I was certain I wasn't the only one lol. Well said.

The Joneses are like two huge cicadas, who never burrow themselves out of the public spotlight but continually make enough racket to irritate everyone.
And they also kind of look like cicadaswith those Bulging, red bloodshot eyes.

Dak to the Titans for #1 overall. The Cowboys take Cam Ward. A boom or bust QB with a massive arm who is a load to bring down.

If he hits, this team is immediately in good position (barring that Schottenheimer isn’t awful).
No way Tennessee does that. Dak and parsons they would
