@Ken Why? this only can lead to pages of stupidity as a couple of them couldnt wait to chime in. Just missing pappy and captain crunch. I also couldnt get to an article just a short exerpt saying he should do better under Mccarthy
Its my opinion....this....is prime trollin. Ken knows what he did, what he wanted and what would happen.
As was said.. aint these guys tired of this? Same people with the same replies and the same fight.

Hello Mr. Narrative, haven't spoken to you in a bit. Still read your posts though when I need a good chuckle.
Enlighten us with your geniosity. Once again, in what league are 15 INTs actually record breaking?

I find it kinda interesting—an offensive guru loses his credibility because his findings don’t validate those that constantly scream “Dak’s the worst!”
Is that why?
Seems like he lost credibility long time ago or hed still be workin.

Martz's takeaway overall was that Dak had lots of bad throws, the receivers were godawful finishing routes, and the system the coaches installed felt unfinished. Gallup had some cuts downfield that showed a WR who had no business out there. Fading 4 yards upfield on a deep out? Your supposed to be on the other side of horizontal on your cut. Lamb still has a ways to go in finishing his routes as well.

I found Martz's conclusion very encouraging. It was very clear that Coryell concepts on routes and reads were not being executed. Martz is an Coryell innovator. MM is a very good offensive coach whose number on priority is ball security.

I am excited to see what he installs. It puts new flavor on MM talking about the mindset of taking on the new role and how he has embraced it. We are finally going to see some West Coast offense.

It's not trolling. It's factual and accurate analysis from one of the smartest offensive gurus in NFL history who knows a thing or two about QBs, WRs, route-running and playcalling.

I got attacked, so I replied based on football facts once again. It's not my fault Mike Martz pretty much said what I've been saying concerning Dak. I'm sorry it bothers you.
You seem to want people to come at you, so I'm not that sympathetic. I'm merely saying you need a better playbook. Maybe get a new coordinator.

"You" need a better playbook? A new coordinator? What team are you talking about? I thought you were a Cowboys fan? Did you not notice the Cowboys fired their recent coordinator and are creating a new playbook?

You've lost the context apparently. I was riffing on you doing the, "you'd never say that to my face," thing. Just messing with you.

Coordinator of my all time fave offense to watch.
Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt, Proehl and Az-Hakimh(sp?).

Other than being in charge of that collection of talent in their prime for a few years, I think all the previous posts have covered his overall impact as a coach.

I can't lie though, I loved watching that group operate.

So, so, so many options to choose from.

I don’t need to watch Mike Martz analyze film to realize many of daks interceptions were miscues from his receivers. I also can acknowledge that while also saying there was so many that even taking those out he still forced several passes into areas he shouldn’t have and at times made horrible decisions.

Not sure what this proves and I’m a dak supporter

in daks first year when he threw so few INTs, i took note because a lot were simply dropped by the other side or over thrown to the point it would come back at him in the long run.

here we are. its just what he does. you can micro-analyze it all you want, but he'll keep doing it.

Kurt Warner didn’t know what he was talking about until he finally made a video where he says he didn’t like a couple of Moore’s play designs and suddenly he should be our OC…
I had issue with Warners initial analysis bc it failed to see things like Martz pointed out. That was in the 2021 season.

He later (last year) started to point out wr/scheme issues. It came after he was getting accused of hating Dak.

I never wavered an dpointed these things out because they were egregious.

If you watch actually nfl football you will see every defense drop footballs. Mahomes has dropped interceptions. Have you ever seen Cowboys defensive player drop interceptions? We literally just saw Diggs do it. But Dak is the only one who has interceptions dropped….

seriously dude?

defenses drop footballs in the NFL? holy **** -

maybe you need to drop your defenses and stop attacking people who don't agree with you. you sound like an idiot asking me if i watch NFL football when i just commented on watching daks 1st year performance where i said passes were being dropped.

i also said that would eventually catch up to him.

it did.

build a bridge and get over it.

Damn you in your feelings..why would you even post something so silly and then get mad when someone calls you out on jt? Your point was Daks dropped interceptions would come back to bite him….in year 7…  Genius observation thanks for your contributions lol.

“Build a bridge and get over it”……damn well you told me let me go sit down somewhere.

My takeaway from watching that analysis is that both Dak and the receivers were playing poorly, so blame goes to both. Martz seems to be blaming the OC for not coaching better and getting more disciplined play from both Dak and the receiver group. This has to do with practice, and not necessarily the game plan. But Martz also didn't like some of the concepts that were run on the interception plays.

It's hard to judge the offense in isolation when only looking at the interception plays. Obviously, there were many other plays that were run well; else, they would not have been such a high scoring offense. But the plays shown indicate a lack of discipline on the part of all the players in the passing game. Martz was also critical of Dak on about 1/2 the plays, so he wasn't only critical of the receivers.

We'll see if Martz is correct, and if McCarthy can turn it around.
