2-4 in the playoffs speaks volumes as well as shrinking in the biggest regular season games

the ironic part is that because of all the people that I work with are so down on Dak, I actually find myself defending him.

they all say that he is God awful……I say that he’s a bit above average.

most of the ones that view him as great are relegated to being in this forum…..and that’s ok
QB's dont have records. Its teams that win or lose. Until you figure that out, you will always miss analyze QB's.

Dak played great in most of the playoff games. Only one he stunk it up was last year against the #1 D in the NFL with no help from anyone else.

Dak leading the league in picks despite missing 5 games and just generating 1 TD against the Niners was the nail in the coffin

I thought you said stats are for losers. Dak lead the league in picks and it didnt seem to matter. We still went 12-5.

Mike Martz just put the nail in your coffin buddy.

Let me guess, you like Daniel Jones over Dak too right?

Its not comparing Dak to Marino..its the "Has he won a SB" mystic, I dont think anyone actually thinks Dan was a bad QB obviously some of us watched him and some didnt...he may have been the most talented passer ever Probably only equaled by elway in speed strength delivery to be honest. Its just funny when you watch a Dak argument devolve into "How manty SB's has he won" because obviously its not all the QB...Its kinda like ending a Dak argument with "get to the NFCCG if you want my respect" then telling me how great Herbert is......
:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:
Or telling me Andy Dalton is the same...

Or telling me Cooper Rush win rate is better than Dak after never winning a Starting Job in 6 Seasons....

Dak Haters have never had a Plausible alternative to Dakota Prescott and WILL NEVER ACCEPT Prescott even if the Cowboys win Superbowl with him as QB1

In their mind it will the worst NFL talented ever or some weird NON-Football Goalpost Shift:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Who's more qualified to speak on, evaluate NFL quarterbacks and the functioning of the offense and its moving parts..... Cowherd or Martz?

Which one of those guys credibility holds the most weight in NFL quarterbacking? Exactly... so your Cowherd video means what again?
Lol until Martz posts something semi negative about your Messiah … then how quick the tables will turn.

Mike Martz ALREADY posted and said something NEGATIVE about Prescott in the 15 INT breakdown. Martz’s criticism was valid and professional.

on the other Hand Dak Haters are driven by NON-Football reasons and ignorance

Huh?…….that the most idiotic thing I’ve seen posted here. Peer pressure has nothing to do with it,

for those that understand the written word, I was merely conveying that other Cowboys fans outside this forum hold Dak in an even lower regard that they do in this microcosm of a forum.

so once again for those who don’t understand our national language, “ I stated that most of the Cowboys fans I work with say that Dak is the greatest problem with the Cowboys and must be replaced, asap”

and as far as your perpetual assertion that “ it’s not about football”, ; unlike you , I work and live among MANY DIFFERENT type of people that have very different opinions on things.

you should get out among different people and comprehend that fact instead of your constant baiting and conspiracy theories Instead of regurgitating the words of biased people

LOL..

Looks like Jon Kitna told his old coach to go out there and defend his buddy Dak from all the criticism he’s getting..

I love how Dak being this all-world passer is the NORM, when his norm since 2019 has been nothing but fumbles and INTs and horrible stretches of offensive play and prior to Moore coming, it was a conservative check-down bus driver.

Dak had never even thrown over 40 TDs and he only came close when he was playing in 17 games and the Eagles had their third stringers in and they kept Dak in until the third quarter with all his first string team. And then he folded like a cheap suit once again when he played the Niners.

You said he's a check down bus driver.... yet he's throw over 2180 passes 20+ yards and averages over 300 yards passing per game.

But you start off saying Kitna told Martz to defend Dak.....

See... I have no problem with the Dak critics who actually have intelligent gripes. It's the people like you that whine, cry and LIE to try and prove a point. You ignore real production and numbers, but rather just flat out lie.

You gotta do better kid.

He both praised Kellen Moore and made subtle veiled comments about McCarthy’s ability to adjust during games, to tighten things up and hold everyone accountable so that receivers understand the game through the QBs eyes, attention to details, being where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there, and attacking the ball.

Forget about Dak and his abilities or lack thereof. These comments echo everything guys like Kurt Warner and other former QBs commented about on our film breakdowns. The lack of attention to details, the plays where everyone ran the same route at the same depth and expecting the QB to just find the right guy. The lack of scheme. If McCarthy truly fixes that with better blocking schemes, tighter pockets, attention to details for everyone on plays, and holding players accountable, we will all be happy, thrilled even.

Maybe the above, along with having better receivers this year, will allow Dak to flourish. Maybe Dak will stink despite all the hopeful improvements, and we will be looking for someone new. Regardless, Marth is just one of many players and coaches who have said the same things about Moore’s lack of attention to detail and inability to adjust when the offense or defense is struggling. This doesn’t mean Kellen isn’t a genius or won’t be a great head coach some day or that he won’t be highly successful in SD. But he was a young, inexperienced coach in Dallas who went from being a young, talent challenged backup QB to a QB coach and then the OC and play caller in 2-3 years. He’s still growing and learning, but Dallas was too talented to keep waiting, and we saw Mike’s frustration several times on the sideline.

Again, put the great Dak debate aside, anything that makes the offense itself better, the offensive players and execution better, and the playcalling better will make everything better to some degree, even the defense.

Ultimate success in the NFL isn’t just being one of the top offenses during the regular season; it’s about winning tight games in the playoffs when every yard is a struggle and every play is critical.
Great post!

Since you are a Lukewarm Dak Hater (based on the blockchain) you’ll get the same energy…I’ll save Dracarys if your reply is weak…

The most idiotic thing I saw in 2022 was your quote:

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/tad-is-chirpin’-again.492887/page-26
Watching Dak and Zeke interact with each other, I remember thinking how juvenile these 2 grown men act and was hoping they would grow out if it and become men like Aikman and Emmitt……but it just never happened.

they’re priorities are money, social media, etc, and football is the least of their concerns. At a certain age one would think that maturity would kick in and they would want to create a legacy around their profession.

look at the successful players in the league and you will see maturity and pride
2 years Later your take is so lame…..
for those that understand the written word, I was merely conveying that other Cowboys fans outside this forum hold Dak in an even lower regard that they do in this microcosm of a forum.
I know exactly what you are conveying, that makes you and your cohorts poor consumers of FACTUAL information. Watch the facts with your “Cowboy fans outside the forum” EDUCATE THEM….There are Dak Haters every where…Mike Martz has more credentials than your Watercooler Player evaluation

so once again for those who don’t understand our national language, “ I stated that most of the Cowboys fans I work with say that Dak is the greatest problem with the Cowboys and must be replaced, asap”
So…..we know there are Dak Haters everywhere:laugh: What is our national language again and what that have to do with being low Fact consumer.
and as far as your perpetual assertion that “ it’s not about football”, ; unlike you , I work and live among MANY DIFFERENT type of people that have very different opinions on things.
Good for you…I’ve live on 2 different continents each for over a decade and I don’t presume to think I know ALL opinions especially those that are not FACT based…
you should get out among different people and comprehend that fact instead of your constant baiting and conspiracy theories Instead of regurgitating the words of biased people

Uhhh Dak did not play 17 games that year….Cooper Rush played against Minnie…but don’t let facts stand in your way please proceed lol.
