Mike Mayock has Brandon Flowers as his #1 corner

It is ridiculous. Another example, Shawne Merriman was a DE in college, he was announced as a DE on draft day, did the Chargers draft him as a DE? No, he's an OLB.

Still, when the NFL breaks down the picks by position they count what the player was listed as, not what they project him to play next year or two years from then.

Okay, so maybe I do think my opinion holds more water than some people's.

that probably explains why you're wrong pretty much all of the time:p:

The debate isn't how many cornerbacks are drafted on average in the first two rounds, it is the actual ranking of said cornerbacks. Why you feel your opinion is superior to anybody heres or paid draft analyst is beyond me. There is no way there are 8 cornerbacks more talented than Flowers in this draft. And despite your opinion to the contrary I guarantee you have seen 1 - 2 games of half of them if you are lucky.

Never said my opinion is superior to anyone's.

Hypocrite much? Why do you feel your opinion is superior to anybody here or paid draft analysts?

I've seen Flowers plenty. He's a JAG.

I have to disagree with him being a JAG. I do think he has potential to be a quality #2 at least. I don't see the same explosion towards the ball as DRC, but he does seem to make plays and he's certainly not afraid to stick his nose in for run support.

And my opinion is better than yours :p::rolleyes:

You know what the best of all this arguing over whose too high, whose better, whose too low? It's all speculation and personal opinion. :)
