You think Dak is getting run through the ringer on this board? The media is putting out rumors that Russ will be replaced by Stidham by midseason. Of course nobody is talking about Wilson’s contract extension does not start until 2024.
well, Russ sucks. shrugs. he looked awful.

Mike has finally found another guy he can train.

From what I am hearing about Russ in Denver, Payton would have loved for the Denver owner to trade for Lance behind his back.
Sean Payton has a better chance of turning Russell Wilson into what he was a few years ago than turning Trey Lance into what San Francisco thought he would be when they drafted him.

I dont know how anyone reads these comments and thinks Dak is gone after a couple of days watching film with Trey. Most coaches know how to watch film and breakdown plays but it doesnt mean they can play on the field.

Why can't we be optimistic for a good backup?
Oh I am, but he's a top 3 pick. He's not gonna be cheap unless he truly likes his situation here, and believes he has a shot at proving himself. Unless Dak absolutely craps the bed, he'll be a #2 here. Anything can happen! However, I don't see a guy I trust at all at this point whatsoever.

If and this is a big if, Lance shows enough development and potential while simultaneously Dak chokes and hands yet another playoff game to the opposing side, then he has a shot proving himself here. But that's a big if.

Too bad we ran out of preseason games so we can watch him in action.

Where did the post you’re responding to go? It’s imaginary bc the system can’t find it. Did the moderators start fact checking the nonsense and pulled the post?
Huh? The post is still there...

I disagree, we had no threat on the outside with our receivers, cd couldnt do it all, gallup couldnt run routes and was still thinking about his knee noah brown wasnt threating any one and kellen moore was the big reason dak couldnt get into a rhythm with his scheme with thoses stupid option routes and curl routes.. Zeke couldnt get the running gaming going pollard got hurt so dak wasnt at fault he was set up to fail and had to over think and force throws.. Nothing was ever gonna click on offense against the 49ers in that game on the road it was so evident to see.. Pollard wasnt even used in the running game early and also kellen kept dailing up stupid *** pass plays when cd was the only option.. So no wonder it was hard to threat the 49ers defense to score because of all of thoses circumstances that occurred but o it was Dak’s fault in the end we lost and thats str8 bull****

Not surprising that there are strange undercurrents of disrespect here. Jerry is known for encouraging such questionable oddities to exist. His habit of allowing disconnects with his HCs is well known. That's what arrogance and an unbridled ego gets you. Some things never change.

Yeah, Mike McCarthy soured on Dak to the point he allowed Dak to call plays from the sideline for the whole 3rd preseason game against the Raiders last week. A game where the Offense scored 31 points, by far the most points scored this preseason.

SMH. Just be quiet. You're making yourself look foolish.
Perhaps he is helping Dak's resume by showing he can be a better coach than QB.

I get the impression MM is giving due credit to Trey Lance's memory for revealing much of the 49ers info for us. And so it goes! ;)
