will he start?

if we don't get torry holt or boldin, or just another big WR

he has to start.....if we have Crayton starting...we are doomed, Jerry must have a plan....and i guess he trusts Austin

perfect combo...1 is a young burner, who has showed flashes of making big plays, the other is a faster than normal possession guy, who makes crazy catches, and can out jump the best CB's

no way Boldin makes it here in Dallas... my hunch is he resigns with AZ

Crayton as a #2 wasn't too bad in 2007 save the infamous drop and the hiccup route... we're not doomed in any capacity

I wouldn't mind it if Holt came on board and helped out

I think we will start Crayton as a 2......Austin may beat him out in the long run but for now it will be Crayton.........IMO

he had 50 catches for almost 700 yds and 7 tds that yr as the #2 guy...thats a solid season for anyone who's at best the 3rd option bheind superstars like Witten and Owens

I still think Austin may beat him out. He has the best combination of size and speed of the WR's, and he is really coming along with the route running. If he can just stay healthy. I could see him being a guy getting 35-40 catches for 600-800 yds and 5-6 tds. He can really stretch the defense.

Crayton produced when he was asked to. I don't think he's a bad #2. On this team, he's really not a #2. Witten will be before him, and, this is pure speculation, but I think Bennett will play a bigger role.

Here's a prediction: the Boys will move Bennett to WR because he has the speed and talent to play the position. We draft a TE to help out on the line. Just a thought.

I bet Austin's in the #2 by the time TC opens. Love Crayton, but the best WR arrangement is RW and MA in 1 and 2 with Crayton in the slot.

Is there any inkling of a clue yet that we are even interested in Boldin or Holt? No, there isn't so why pose it?

Crayton will probably start the season at #2 but Austin will probably take that spot before the end of the year, he's the perfect complement to Roy with his speed

Yeah but Crayton was just window dressing for the monster that was TO. Don't you know that without him we are doomed? Doomed I tell you.

Yeah I don't see that happening. Bennett isn't fast enough to play WR in the NFL, he's a true TE. I believe Miles Austin will step up into the role of number 2 and perform well.

roll your eyes all you want homer, but with Crayton, we shouldn't show up, Crayton wasn't bad because of Owens

he will own in the slot...starting? no way, he cant work the sidelines

Hahaha. RW11 has better hands than TO ++ and Miles Austin may possibly be the #2 ahead of Crayton++. Even if he's the #3 things are looking up...

I wonder how much faster Keyshawn was than Bennett. It just seems to me Bennett can play a little of both positions if worse came to worse but he's best suited as a TE.

Crayton is better as a slot guy, he doesnt have the speed to really play the sideline.

My guess is Williams and Austin on the outside and Crayton in the slot.

I highly doubt we sign any more free agents.
