Trying to jump off the roof they way they did in the movies? :lmao2: :lmao:

Among other things, yes:eek::

I remember one friend who was so jazzed up after watching one of those movies, he picked a fight with someone out side of the theater and got his *** beat pretty bad. He was a knucklehead to begin with and did stupid things all the time that we often had to bail him out from. This time none of us jumped in to help him. :D

She logged out for a minute. I will ask her if people in Sri Lanka had Jheri Curls.

Avaj and Ethiostar, where are you all from?

I was born in Houston, but pretty much live in Dallas most of my life. Actually I live next door to you in McKinney.

What exactly is the difference between the above and me asking my 15 year old Niece the same exact question?

No need to respond, the only difference is that you agree with Hostile's take on Elvis and so you try to claim there is a difference.

Wiff....right over your head.

Just a tidbit.

I find this interesting.

Elvis never wanted to be called "The King"
He said that was for God.

Michael annointed himself the "The King of Pop"

I just saw on the news, "The King is Dead"

It just doesnt make sense to me.

Yeah, that is the only Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton song I know.

Just like Elvis, I know who Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton are but my knowledge of them is very limited.

Dude, You have lived a very sheltered life.....

Or just maybe he doesn't care for their music much so he doesn't actively seek to know more about them.

How can you not love a man who would shoot a TV? If I had the money, I'd do it just as often.

Hostile, why you can't you understand, we have heard of Elvis and I said I heard of the Beatles, but if someone played a Beatles song on the radio I would not be able to give you a NAME of the song.

It is like name that tune and I wouldn't be able to name the tune, I would know it was the Beatles but I couldn't give you anymore then that.

Why is that so hard to understand??

so you switched off the radio right after a Beatles song came on, every time?

radio stations don't play songs and not tell who played them, and what song it was

He doesn't have to turn off the radio, if he is not actively listening he's not going to remember any of the names. I listen to the radio most days and they play tons of music by artists that are currently very popular, but i would be hard pressed to tell you the name of their songs if it's not the type of music that i'm into.
