The Astros traded him to the Phils as part of the Giles trade.

Mark Appel leaving the Stros. Imagine if they picked Bryant instead (he went #2). Crazy to miss on a 1OA and still have the young studs they do. Not fair

I read this is only the 4th 1OA in MLB history to not make it to the bigs

i was hung up for a bit over them passing on bryant but then the astros got Bregnant and won the series...now i don't care at all lol.

It is rumored that the Mets signed Frasier. The offseason is now complete.....#championship!

Not sure about Frasier. I will defer to the Yankee fans that watched him. When I watched him play against the Mets for Cincinatti, I was not overly impressed. But for $8.5 million I guess it was the best they were going to get.
