Man have there been some great baseball games this past week. Who are you guys rooting for?

BAL(2) vs DET(0)

I'm rooting for DET, mainly because Brad Ausmus is their Manager. It looks like this series is wrapped up though despite 2 very close games.

LAA(0) vs KC(2)

Haven't gotten to watch any of their playoffs yet, but I hope LAA can pull through and beat KC. I'd like to see Pujols and Trout win a ring.

SF(2) vs WSH(0)

Man what a game last night, it went 18 innings! I thought Bryce Harper ended it when he hit a long ball to dead center, but it fell just short of the fence. It also looked like Adam Laroche(I think it was him) ended it with a hard hit ball to right but it stayed in the park. I was hoping WSH could win this series, I think they're a pretty entertaining team that's on the up. It looks like SF will take this one though, but that's alright as I really like Pence and Posey.

STL(1) vs LAD(1)

I wouldn't mind seeing either team win. I really like what Magic/LAD have been doing over there, they have a really talented roster right now filled with stars. STL doesn't have near the star power, but they just always play solid fundamental baseball and are so fun to watch. It seems like they always find a way to get the job done even against unfavorable odds. I remember watching them in the playoffs the year they won it all (2011), they had some amazing comebacks that you'll probably never see again.

KC baby!
It is awesome to actually be able to get exited again in the playoffs instead of having to pick a team I wouldn't mind winning.

Why do the dodgers raid amish families for middle relief?

They would be more productive whittling Chair legs from pine wood than pitching in the 6-8 innings

Its funny how when the Yankees are decline and the spend like drunken sailor mentality has hobbled them the the Dodgers return to relevance. I find the LAD to be an arrogant team more style than substance, they have one of the brightest up and coming stars in this game and they cannot control him he will be another Manny Ramirez great in between the lines but empty in between the ears.

have not paid much attention to baseball for over 20 years but rooting for KC. Just want to see a small market team kick the networks in the balls.

It's funny, because the four teams left are all pretty small markets. The Orioles and Royals are 24 and 30, and the Cardinals and Giants are 19 and 14. Sorry MLB.

YeAh but cards and giant gave done substance in recent years!

I think Giants have an edge. Cards 2nd.

Orioles are definitely projecting a "we got this" about them. Let's see if they can close that deal. After all. They are not the Yankees. So, let's see!

SF gotta get past the Cards first, that's going to be one helluva series.

I liken this to boxing.

We got the big puncher in baltimore.

We got the Wiley veteran in San Fran.

KC has got a punchers chance,

Cardinals might actually turn out to be the weakest. No Tony LaRussa.

Davis not included on O's postseason Roster. I don't think this is a huge issue for Baltimore because they've done fairly well in his absence but I think it does hurt because he does provide more punch to that lineup.

They can re-evaluate when his suspension is up. He could be back in the ALCS or World Series.

The O's had better pick it up or they're going to become irrelevant very soon.
