Huge Cards fan here. Was in STL last weekend for both NLCS games. Pretty awesome to celebrate both a Cowboys win over Seattle and a Cards walkoff in Game 2.
Any other Cards fans in the house?
My dad is a Cardinals fan and has pretty much made me lose what little interest I had in baseball to begin with, to be honestHuge Cards fan here. Was in STL last weekend for both NLCS games. Pretty awesome to celebrate both a Cowboys win over Seattle and a Cards walkoff in Game 2.

IF the Orioles blow this opportunity it's a huge loss.
The window for any team coming in and winning the division other than NY and Boston, is difficult to begin with, and the Orioles had a big opportunity to make hay while the sun shines this season. I think the Yankees are a year away from being in a dominating position again. But the Red Sox... well we know what happened the year after they cratered in the standings. They have money to spend in free agency and they have a very nice farm system.
Bottom line, this would be a massive disappointment for the team and the fans.
Wow!
Epic fail by the Baltimore Orioles.

Yes it was. The team did nothing like this all year. They were resilient and always bounced back. Not sure what happened but they will have a long winter remembering this.
I dont expect them to fall off next year. I like our guys. We should have a healthy Machado and Weiters back. Angelos has shown a willingness to spend some money again. Dont know how much, but it has been different. Gold glovers all over the field and decent pitching combined with the sticks and they'll be in the mix.
The Cowboys playing well makes it an easier pill to swallow for sure.
A couple of cheap seeing eyes ground ball Derek jeter singles and it's a different story.
KC got all of those, we didnt.
Its ok tho, the future is bright orange.
Well, this is pretty much SOP for Baltimore. See it pretty consistently. Pretty much exactly what happened to the Yankees in 2012. Lots of talk after that series about the Yankees relying to much on the long ball. It was true then and it's true today with Baltimore. KC played small ball all year and the Orioles relied on the HR.
I'll add that the start time of the game didn't help Baltimore either. Game was postponed and so it had to be moved to a day game. Shadows from mound to home plate had to make it tough to pick up the ball, I'm sure. I mean, you had to play it then in order to fit in both games on TV so I understand it completely. Then again, it was the same for both teams but advantage was probably KC as it was played on their field.
Makes me really appreciate all those cheap hits that netted us 5 World Series in 13 years. Lol
Yea, the best team does not always win. You've got 5 WS to show it. Its just part of sports.
