Yes it was. The team did nothing like this all year. They were resilient and always bounced back. Not sure what happened but they will have a long winter remembering this.

I dont expect them to fall off next year. I like our guys. We should have a healthy Machado and Weiters back. Angelos has shown a willingness to spend some money again. Dont know how much, but it has been different. Gold glovers all over the field and decent pitching combined with the sticks and they'll be in the mix.

The Cowboys playing well makes it an easier pill to swallow for sure.

Huge Cards fan here. Was in STL last weekend for both NLCS games. Pretty awesome to celebrate both a Cowboys win over Seattle and a Cards walkoff in Game 2.

Any other Cards fans in the house?

So who you guys rooting for now?

I think San Fran takes it.... unless KC is a team of destiny.

I would have been rooting for the Cards, but now dont really care. Prob wont even watch unless Im really really bored. Dont care to see the Giants win it again, but KC displayed some attitudes and cockiness thats distasteful so dont want them either.

If I were betting prob SF, but anything can happen in a short series. KC seems to be rollin and its all rollin their way.

I'm a Cards fan, so that sucked - but the Giants just have the Cards number. Anyway, I'm pulling for KC. They're peaking at the right time and playing lights out. It's better to be hot than to be good.

I see the giants like I see the spurs. Every couple of years just take a title.

Outfield cheap nosebleeds tickets for game 1 and game 2 starting at $650 each.

There is actually a job fair tomorrow for stadium help during the series.

I was a little nervous about KC coming into that series... I think they can play small or with big bats....
I'm going with them.

I didn't get the impression you were nervous about KC Vs Balt.
I wasn't and didn't expect them to do what they did... Not at first anyways. After 2-0 start then I saw it.

Yeah like I said KC has a destiny shot.
Still thinking San Fran though,

I know a lot of KC fans and I'd really love to see them win it for them. So KC all the way.

The Giants and Cards are always somewhere in the mix at the end of the year. Amazing to see them stay strong even as players leave or decline.

I think the clock strikes midnight on Kansas City and the giants win their 3rd in five years

Bumgardner is amazing...I remember when he pitched against the Rangers in the 2010 WS and shut us down. I knew he was gonna be a great pitcher, but not better then Lincecum

I didn't realize Lincecum was having a tough couple of seasons even with the no-hitters. Always liked his style of pitching. Hope he wasn't injured too bad.
