MLB Regular Season

I'm not so sure about that. Like the Eagles in football, no one seen the Stros coming either. AND like the Eagles, I don't see them repeating. Both teams had awesome Cinderella seasons.

Too many other good teams out there. I truly think another one will top both the NFL & MLB in 2018.;)

There's nothing Cinderella about the Astros. They spent the better part of a decade rebuilding through the draft. Anyone who stuck with them saw this coming. The Astros are loaded and will be WS contenders for a long time.

Yep, the Astros are more talented compared to other teams in MLB than the Eagles are when compared their competitors in the NFL. This Astro team could have at least 3 HOFers on it with Verlander, Altuve and Correa.

Wife got some box seats for tomorrow in Oakland vs the Angels. I have never been to that stadium, so what the heck! Even though I don't care for either team

Can’t wait to see Cole’s debut today for the Astros. Love this team. I wish the cowboys had an efficient front office with focus on future moves as well as the present and trying new things with efficiency.

That's YOUR opinion. I gave you MINE. You can give me the entire Wikipedia and I'll stick with what I said, they won't repeat. They barely surpassed the lousy Yankees who had no business being in the playoffs.

There isn't a human being who see's anything "coming". That's all I'm going to say on the topic.

OMG. Really? The Eagles were loaded & underdogs. They ran the table in the playoffs beating great teams then beating the greatest team in the SB.

Stros are going to show the world exactly what the Cubbies did....One & Done!
Stros fans:rolleyes:

Astros are far more talented compared to their competition than what the Eagles are.

Now that's no guarantee the Astros are going to win the championship this year also, but it doesn't keep me from posting that the '17 Astros are a better team than the '17 Eagles.

I looked at crystal ball...Cowboys win SB, Stros win WS ;)

Ohtani, first major league AB, hit. First batter faced, k. :)

If the Angels are relevant in September, even, Trout wins his third MVP, me thinks. He was having a career year last year before his thumb, and even after returning, finished the season with career best numbers in certain areas.

lol
great april fools gag.

You’re there? Dude, Ohtani was hitting 100 mph in the first. Nasty, filthy movement on his offspeed pitches, too. Trout is playing today, Dex, double play in the first :(

Yea, I am here, glad Trout started. Good game so far :)

I never said they would repeat. Every season is different. Injuries, trades etc. But to call the Astros a "Cinderella" tells me you didn't pay much attention to the Astros the last 7 years. I guess those silly folks at Sports Illustrated didn't see "anything coming" when they predicted it back in 2014.
