WOW. The Mets scored their most runs ever and set other franchise records by clobbering my Phillies, 24-4. The 25 hits also marked a new franchise record for those Mets in a 9 inning game, and the Mets scored at least 16 runs in back to back games for the first time in franchise history.

Being it's a double header, maybe the Phils will, oh never mind.

The Mets spent Sunday at the Little League World Series where they actually beat the Phillies. Then they went home Monday and lost to teh Giants on a little league play where the 1st baseman playing left field crashed into the shortstop and made him drop a pop up which allowed the winning run to score. I thought the major leaguers were supposed to be a big influence on the kids, not the other way around. SMH

deGrom should win the Cy Young but what yas think the chances are playing for this lousy team? I put it at 2 to 1 that he gets it. He is dominating yet playing for a team that can't score runs for him......it might hurt his cause

I really hate the Red Sox and the Yanks.

To see them be put to sleep this year, well...

Ask the Mariners, or how recent league leaders have faired in the post-season. But, especially, the Mariners. The A's can rot, too.

The Rangers are too insignificant to draw my ire. Ever since they got rid of Rodgers in like 99 or 2000. Texas is a laughing stock. They don't count.

If the Astros win again, I may start to hate them. But they don't take over our field, are classy fans, and new to the ALW. I will forever hate the Red Sox, Yanks, A's, Mariners, Dodgers.

Degrom is the Man. Just heard Gary Cohen say that of the 712 batters Degrom has faced this year, almost 80% of them have been faced with the Mets either tied, up or down one run. That is crazy. Just watched him against the Dodgers withou his best stuff and the guy just willed himself through the last inning he pitched. 35 pitches with the game on teh line. He had two hits and drove in the ony run they scored. Give him the Cy Young now. He deserves it just because he plays for the Mets and their horrible offense.
