MM making same excuses 3 years later. Time for him to go!

3 years ago and that playoff loss to SF MM preached that they will address the penalties, 3 years later they still lead the league in penalties. Last playoff loss he talked about playing with urgency on the road, they are now 3-4 with 3 losses by 20 plus points. Today he talks about this gap on the road as if we and more importantly players will now listen when it’s 3 years of the same mistakes. Sure MM’s teams beat bad teams by 30. If the plan is to win a SB we all know it won’t happen with this coach and certainly not this year with having to win 3 straight on the road to get there. If JJ is content with losing in the second round then keep the status quo.
While I agree Mike must go, I think the penalties are coming from the League Office and not on the team. Penalty on Allen and the Punter today were total flops, and I don't know what the roughing on Kearse was about. Not sure if these could be prevented unless you just stop playing.

Since MM became coach.. we've had 12-5, 12-5 and now another winning season.. please stop
Again another fan content with losing in the 2nd round, i’ll repeat it again since you didn’t hear the first time, having a good regular season record and failing in the playoffs is more of a knock on MM than this good thing you make it out to be, being good in the regular season and failing in january isn’t a good thing for a coach, in fact just makes my point

I think it's the persona that Dallas brings. Players come here for paychecks, period. Dallas needs to shed the "America's Team" persona. That starts with a real GM.

Looks like Jerry and Stephen may need to fire another scapegoat. How many head coaches pass through before we all realize that never was the real problem?

We're up to seven now since Jimmy, but I'm sure their eighth choice will be the solution.

Dude he left his feet and completely crashed into the kicker. That’s was a layup

Who ya going to replace McCarthy with? An old Billichick that hasn't won without Brady. Stay the course. Keep improving
Better than a worse McCarthy who hasn't won without Rodgers. At least we won't be mentally soft anymore. And staying the course means continuing to be good enough to be competitive but not win anything important.

I think it annoys MM to no end that he doesn't have the personnel in DAL necessary to execute the run-based offense he so desperately craves...and announced as a priority at the start of training camp this year.

Since then, necessity bred a more wide-open passing game that released Dak from bondage, resulting in 35 pts. or so per week.

Yet, a rainy forecast in Buffalo today offered Coach Mike the perfect excuse to again set sail in his plodding, doomed, offensive dreamboat. Now resting, lifeless & barnacled, at the bottom of Lake Erie. With any luck, never to be seen ashore again.
I’m not sure if I agree with you but this was certainly well written and entertaining. I tip my cap to you, sir.

I’m not disagreeing that jerry and his sons are a problem but that doesn’t mean they have the right coach either

MM isn't the issue. DQ might be a problem. I think sometimes his arrogance gets the better of him and then the fundamentals get overlooked when getting ready for a game. We seem clueless and unprepared. We are totally uninterested in tackling one on one.

I agree it's a foul by rule ..... but I'm not sure why. I mean the receiving team is trying to make a play. It was a clean play. He was not driving himself into the kicker. I don't see the harm. I can understand the rule protecting when the receiving team player goes low & takes out the plant leg.

They are nothing special???? Until we beat them, they were viewed as one of the top two teams in the league.
They squeaked by several average teams...very often with gift wrapped calls by the refs, and drops by WR's, etc. It is mind boggling that they are 10-3 despite only scoring 21 more points than they have allowed. And if we beat them by 20, how special can they be? I mean, we lost to AZ.

If you're talking " HC gotta go " ,.. then do we have a legit, thought out plan as a HC replacement ?

Do you add to McCarthy that maybe apparently missing here ?
- on Defensive side, ..offensive side?

- Or do we go on wild goose chases with college HC's ? ( ala Matt Rue)
or a dart throw in the dark for some young assistant coach (ala Nathan Hackett)

- The Jones dismissed boy wonder Garrett, and went with SB resume HC McCarthy because they wanted to
hit the ground running without having to endure the new HC learning process.

- The only other sure option seems to be going with current DC Dan Quinn, and then we'd have to see how his assistant hires go as far as OC, OL coach, offensive and defensive assistants, etc.

MM has his challenge flag glued in his pocket on that fumble no-call. Is he blind? Throw the flag anyway!!

Didn't Dallas just win 5 in a row? And we want to fire the coach? That's dumb.
This place is bipolar, pay no attention. The same guy was probably advocating we re-up MM after the Philly game.
