I will scream this louder, having regular season success and continually getting bounced in the playoffs is an indictment on the coach not a compliment as you perceive it to be, it’s this complacent attitude is exactly what jerry wants from his fansAnother near-sighted post about who should go and who should stay. The Cowboys clinched a playoff spot yesterday to make to the playoffs for three years in a row, something we haven’t done since the 90’s. But yeah, ‘fire the coach’
One more win and we’re locked into nothing less than the #5 seed. If the Eagles win tonight, I hope MM goes into load management mode after securing that aforementioned win.
Oh, and the ‘we all know’ comment is nonsense. I don’t know we can’t win a SB with MM. in fact, I’m sure we can, so speak for yourself.
It will never cease to amaze me how fans react to games, both wins and losses. Yeah, we may not win our division, but it will be because we have another top team in the league in the East, not because MM is a hack.
Such a terrible take. It’s one thing to be optimistic it’s another to be a complete unbiased homer. If you don’t see a pattern of how this team plays on the road, how soft they are, how undisciplined they are and expect that magically to disappear in a playoff matchup then you are just dumbI'm sick and tired of these "chicken little" responses from fans every time the Cowboys have a bad game. You can not beat everyone every time. That's all this is, not the sky falling. The Cowboys are a very talented team that plays better in certain conditions and is unbeatable at home. The Cowboys have a challenge to conquer next week in Miami, proving they can beat a good team on the road. McCarthy is still a great coach and Dak is still a great QB. You "chicken little" people who are in such a panic need to take a chill pill. Our Cowboys are still capable of getting hot in the playoffs and making a deep run. R-E-L-A-X
Oh look, Chicken Little Supreme makes an appearance. The Cowboys are 10-4 and already have their playoff invitation confirmed with 3 games left in the regular season. The only pattern I've seen is how predictable and lame you panicked chickens are when everything doesn't go your way. I expect you to have fully jumped ship when the Cowboys are yet again on the road in Miami. Bye Chicken, you won't be missed!Such a terrible take. And it’s another to be someone who lays in the cut, waiting for someone to walk by so you can jump them from behind.Such a terrible take. I think the Cowboys are a .500 team that drafted Parsons and he has been the difference.McCarthy is a good coach. He's had this team with double digit wins 3 years in a row.
This loss had nothing to do with coaching. The Bills and the 49ers are both bigger, stronger, and more physical than our team. That’s not about coaching. When a team outschemes you, that’s coaching. Their OL was better than our DL and their DL was better than our OL. Couple that with a great RB performance and a secondary that covered like glue, and you get these results. Not many teams can play that game against us because few teams in today’s NFL have the desire to go huge and physical, but it fits the playing conditions in Buffalo.3 years ago and that playoff loss to SF MM preached that they will address the penalties, 3 years later they still lead the league in penalties. Last playoff loss he talked about playing with urgency on the road, they are now 3-4 with 3 losses by 20 plus points. Today he talks about this gap on the road as if we and more importantly players will now listen when it’s 3 years of the same mistakes. Sure MM’s teams beat bad teams by 30. If the plan is to win a SB we all know it won’t happen with this coach and certainly not this year with having to win 3 straight on the road to get there. If JJ is content with losing in the second round then keep the status quo.
Did you see some of the short yardage play calls yesterday? They were horrific!!!MM isn't the issue. DQ might be a problem. I think sometimes his arrogance gets the better of him and then the fundamentals get overlooked when getting ready for a game. We seem clueless and unprepared. We are totally uninterested in tackling one on one.
So what...nobody ever mentions this, but he never had a post firing press conference after canning The Clapping Carrot....there were never any questions in a formal setting where he had to answer for his 9+ year mistake...it was all very slick the way he let time pass after seasons end without making any comment....The Clapping Carrot's firing was just pretty much assumed with nothing being said formally. He needs to get rid of Corky before it gets to the point where he feels there is no return. After we lose to Tampa Bay, Corky needs to be gone....we were promised 2+ years ago that there needed to be post season success....why isn't Booger EVER pressed on this? He *&%#*^@ said it himself!!!JJ is not going to fire MM. If he does, it would be like JJ admitting that he made a mistake in hiring MM in the first place.
Nice try, but the boys didn’t show up, they were punched in the mouth and quit, you bet it’s coaching not to have their team ready to play. The effort sucked, the play calling sucked..coachingThis loss had nothing to do with coaching. The Bills and the 49ers are both bigger, stronger, and more physical than our team. If Miami beats us, it won’t look the same because they may be the least physical team in the NFL. They win with speed.
Cowboys dts are small. Cowboys need some nastyCowboys came into the game missing run help, but the biggest thing was the dumb penalties, MM neglecting to challenge that turnover, and some of the play call. The D also have major issues stopping the run.
He doesn’t seem to instill discipline or a tough mentality. It’s also the players for not self motivating enough all around, not many alpha dogs on the roster personality wise. Yeah our record always ends up good, but we seem too soft to be the hard nosed teams. If you think a change in coaching is what's wrong with the Cowboys, then I don't know what to tell you. Why change coaches when the one hiring the coach is not going to change. That being said, I think McCarthy is a good coach who has the Cowboys in a good place.
Not the goal. All that does is drive tv ratings, sell tickets and merch.McCarthy is a good coach. He's had this team with double digit wins 3 years in a row.
Seems like the word EVER should be in there somewhere. He doesn’t seem to instill discipline or a tough mentality.
True lol…..id like to give him the benefit of the doubt, I get caught up in the wins and good record…..then I see games like SF and Bills where we are straight soft and get bullied and show the weak personality of the team, or the first Eagles game where we lose because of complete lack of discipline.Seems like the word EVER should be in there somewhere.
Thank you sir for that....made me laugh before bed time. There are no consequences for playing badly in Dallas. That's the problem. "we like our dumb guys"
The idea that ‘Jerry wants complacency from his fans’ is obtuse and beyond ignorant. No need ‘debating’ with you. You don’t have a grasp on reality or human nature.I will scream this louder, having regular season success and continually getting bounced in the playoffs is an indictment on the coach not a compliment as you perceive it to be, it’s this complacent attitude is exactly what jerry wants from his fans
