What was the logo that was behind the Eagles logo at the 50 yard line tonight? I'm guessing it was from a college game earlier in the weekend, but I could not figure it out. I did think it was a little tacky looking though.

They are commemorating 75 years and no Super Bowl wins.

The banner says:

"75 years and counting....We suck."

The Cowboys celebrate 50 years in 2009 and have a more storied history, championships, HOF's, etc. in 33% less time

LITTLE KNOWN FACT ...

By the way...no Texas team has ever won any baseball championship ...e.g., the Rangers nor the Astros (emtpy ballpen trophy case)!

not a little known fact, just one that has no relevance to this thread

Ditto. Last time I checked this was a football forum not a baseball forum. Good try though. Philthy still sucks.

FYI, Texas is a football state. Thanks for playing though. Even being, we do have (5) NBA championships, (1) NHL Lombardy trophy, and (5) Soccer Championships on top of our (5) Superbowls.

You don't worry though, our bBaseball championships will come unlike the Eagles.

LOL! How weak! He didn't really just go to baseball so he could discuss championships did he? That empty Iggles trophy case must be heavy on his mind.

That is actually false information on top of its irrelevance. The Texas Longhorns have won the College World Series 6 times.

1949, 1950, 1975, 1983, 2002, and 2005.

Here's a link to the Champions as proof.

I noticed that no Pennsylvania team has ever won it. Though Penn St. did lose it in 1957. Just 3 years before the Eagles Championship drought began.

I find the image below tragic on multiple levels.

I didn't know they made a movie about the Iggles trophy case:

Apparently the main character goes on a hunt to find all the trophies. We all know how the movie ends: Empty Handed.

I'm sure somewhere on the innerwebs there's a place to dialog about your baseball triumphs.

Two of which are the fact that someone would actually outwardly support the Eagles by painting something on their mode of transportation. Another being that all Eagles and Eagles fans ride the *short bus*! :lmao2:
