Well it was a good matchup alright. The Cowboys aren't the center of the universe anymore.

Maybe it's the Eagles now? All three of the top watched games (vs Dallas, vs NYJ, vs Chiefs) had them in it.

It was a Super Bowl rematch with two teams that were leading their conferences before the game so not surprised at all a lot of people watched it.

At least Jerry gets to see non-Cowboys games generating some high ratings.

If we see more games like that get more ratings that the Cowboys, Jerry might actually make some changes.

Im sure the huge draw was due to the Eagles having a player named Dallas on their team. We’re even more powerful than we thought.

Prob so . Fans need to also remember that current MNF is also being broadcast on ABC since the Writers Strike postponed the normal broadcast making MNF more available than usual on ESPN alone. And why SNF has taken over the most watched games in recent years.

Even when it's not a Cowboys game, it's the Cowboys fan base that plays a big part in that. We were all watching that game.

Only time I watch MNF is when the Cowboys play and when one of our closest competitors play vs a real good team.

Are they? Maybe the Eagles carried us to the 2nd spot. They are also in the 1 and 3 spot. We aren't.

What makes more sense....the team with the best record who's also at #1 and #3 on that list drawing the ratings for the 2nd spot....or the 5th best team, that's nowhere else on the list being the reason for hype on that spot? There seems to be a common denominator on the list...and it ain't us.
