Skins' D has played hard all night. Can't blame them. Their offense just hasn't given them much.

I guess a team can be as sloppy as it wants when running at 7 yds per attempt...Seattle may be trying to set a record for penalties tonight...

That should be game as long as Seattle doesn't give up a cheap quick score

Wilson just running all over these guys. Over 100 yards rushing now. Going to be a tough matchup next week.

Our DE didn't allow that garbage against SF; they stayed home rather than overpursue inside. Our guys do a good job playing disciplined on the read options look and will hit Wilson if he hesitates. Orakpo and Kerrigan have been awful as if they were not prepared for the look.

It's not like Seattle has a complicated offense. They have a few plays that have 4 or 5 options similar to top basketball teams like the Spurs. The key is staying disciplined. I actually have confidence in our DL in that regard.

i have a gut feeling we'll win next week but I don't understand why people are using this performance as reasoning for why we have a chance? 14 pt game on the road, this is a solid win versus a very good defense. I'm actually more concerned after watching this performance. Guys like Melton, Spencer, and Hayden are going to have to play better than they've played all season.

Looks like C Max Unger just suffered the dreaded high ankle sprain. You could tell how his leg torqued as he ran blocked and then came up lame. He didn't twist his ankle or get rolled up on. He just torqued his leg, which causes the sprain. And don't let the fact that he walked unassisted off the field. High ankle sprains don't set in immediately. It'll tighten up after he sits on the sideline, and he won't be able to play for several weeks. Crawford has to be licking his lips right about now.

Edit #1: Just reported that he has a foot injury. Still works for me. On a short week, doubt he plays. Hope this leads to a fumbled snap or two.

Edit #2: Just returned to game. Crawford is still going to dominate him next week. IMO

This game would be a wash-out if not for self-inflicted harm committed by Seattle...these guys are the real deal...they will run it...run it and run it some more. I respect that kind of offense.

And they take forever to recover from it seems...

Works for me. Harvin looked pretty hobbled as well. I am loving the outcome of this game. Commanders lose but cause lots of attrition for Seattle. I don't root for injuries to happen but certainly recognize and appreciate the benefit they are for us. I will take any edge that can be had.

and also not have 4 consecutive 3 and outs and tire out the defense because that is when their offense starts to work.

Yep, the keys have got to be to make sure Lynch doesn't run wild on our defense, and Containing Wilson, make sure he's not put in a position where he has that nice run/pass option. Sacking Wilson should not be a priority.
