However for me unless there is a definite benefit Dallas angle, I want the Skins to lose and lose badly if possible.
Of course if they lose really really bad, I will feel bad for the few quality skin posters on this board such as SkinsAndTerps...for about a milisecond. Actually, I wont feel bad at all.
After our team charter had to make an emergency landing, I don't even want to think about that.Aikbach;1651509 said:Maybe it will result in a tie and both team buses will swerve off a bridge after the game.
Do you really SnT? I give the Eagles too much leniency sometimes because in this decade they have owned all of us, but easily?SkinsandTerps;1651531 said:Appreciate the recognition.
I expect the Commanders to win and win convincingly. It should be interesting.

While it is not fun to listen to sports after a win, it is quite enjoyable after a skins loss. There are actually guys on talk radio around here (Ric Doc Walker & Brian Mitchell) who will rip the skins after a loss.
Synder has actually started another station because he hates these guys ripping the skins.
That's no less than the third time that happened to Dallas in the franchise's history.Hostile;1651533 said:After our team charter had to make an emergency landing, I don't even want to think about that.

I foresee it happening next training camp, Kolb is just waiting to be the next disappointment...er, savior.zrinkill;1651544 said:This will not happen until there is a new head coach.
The one in the 60's you speak of, Walt Garrison tells a great story about it in his first book.Aikbach;1651541 said:That's no less than the third time that happened to Dallas in the franchise's history.
The team plane went into a semi-tailspin in the late sixties and almost crashed, problems after takeoff in the mid-80s forced another emergency landing.
Law of averages make for eventual mechanical problems, I'm sure other teams have experienced the same.
One of the two will take an L. But trust me, Skins fans are far more idiots than the Eagles fans. Both sets of fans are jerks, but at least the Eagles fans are realistic about their team.Hostile;1650961 said:I love MNF. Always have. It is going to be hard on me to watch tonight. I can't stand either team. I can't stand Tony Kornheiser.
Tirico and Jaws I can stomach, but is Jaws going to be an Eagles homer tonight if they are winning? I almost don't want to know. I already know Kornheiser is going to try and counteract that by trying to make everything about the Skins.
I should put on a movie instead, but I can't. It's Monday Night Football.
On the one hand I'd love to see the Eagles be 0-2. On the other hand the meltdown by Skins fans would be entertaining as hell. It always is.
I can't see the Skins winning this game. I don't think they have a prayer. The Eagles will be looking to rebound from last week's Special Teams disaster. I expect a beat down, and in truth, I won't enjoy it like I normally would seeing a Skins beatdown, because it's by the freaking Eagles and the last thing I want from them is confidence.
37-10 Eagles.

I remember the one in the 60's. One of the guys was worried and said something to Don Meridith about this could be the end. Dandy Don, leaned back lit up a cig and said something to the effect of "yeah, but it's been a good run, hasn't it?" So cool.Aikbach;1651541 said:That's no less than the third time that happened to Dallas in the franchise's history.

I don't see how the Skins could win "convincingly" with JC at QB. He hasn't done it yet...SkinsandTerps;1651531 said:Appreciate the recognition.

I thought the "Three Mikes" did a good job in the MNF double header game.big dog cowboy;1651064 said:Agreed. How did he keep his Monday Night gig? Sometimes it's just painfull to listen to him. ABC just can't seem to get some decent guys any more.

Speaking of that, when is the release date for book #2?
