Moore turned Linehan

Went back to a stale offense...

running into loaded boxes... zero creativity to open up the pass to help the run

For heavens sake they have Eli apple playing corner!!!
Something I noticed is that we audibled into the run several times with the kill-kill-kill. So passes were called, but we reverted to run based on the look, but couldn't do much with the run.

Really? I thought JG was told by Jerry to stay away from the offense? That’s the narrative we heard for the first couple games when the offense was rolling.

You have to admit that the NOs game plan looked completely different from the first two games (and very much like the past several seasons).

One of the things I’m not seeing talked about much is when the Saints would show blitz, Dak would audible, then the Saints wouldn’t come and Dallas would be in the wrong play. I feel like that happened a half dozen times.

They then moved to the defense to know which okay we would run.

In the end this game came down to 2 turnovers and the missed TD to Cobb

Why are people surprised? Under JG, anytime something works well, we never see it again. It's been like this past 10 years.

All the things that were working well past 3 games wasn't used tonight. Or used very little. Things like screens, using pollard on an option, motions and shifts, jet sweeps, RPOs, design run for Dak. The offense looked like the same crappy offense we ran past 10 years.

It was odd and not the same offense from the previous games. Seems like Moore got fed a greatest hits playlist from JG.

Pretty much that same losing offensive gameplan of the past 5 years. I'm wondering if Garrett is stamping more of his imprint on the offense after seeing Moore get all of these accolades. Or maybe Zeke made a stink about this being a run first team and us not running enough... but this offense looked NOTHING like the offense of the first two games. Each time we ran was essentially a wasted down and made the next play ultra predictable, because it would have to be a throw to compensate for getting virtually no yards most of the time we ran. Also, why did Pollard get NO time?

I wonder if Garret had a say in play calling tonight?

I'm not sure what D. Smith is doing but the QB clearly has no confidence to throw his way. So yeah, Gallup is defin6missed.
Speaking of D. Smith, that drop in the end zone that resulted in a FG turned out to be huge. Forgot about that.

The Cowboys ran on 11 first downs and averaged less than 2 yards.

The Cowboys threw on 7 first downs and averaged 7.3 yards.

Think that the Saints were keying up on 2nd downs and 8?

It was bad.

It looked identical to last season with a little more pre snap motion.

Dallas ran themselves into a loss.

Do you think this gameplan was his and his decision alone? I sure don’t.......

I know the play calling is his decision. That's his job.

Depending on how a game is going and the situation, it's his call to make adjustments and call in the plays. Otherwise, we need to focus on Jerry Jones as the culprit
behind everything and just let him coach both sides of the ball. Moore called a bad game on offense but he'll learn from it. JMO

We will see soon enough. After watching this offense early on, I can’t imagine that it was Kellens’ decision to revert back to last year. Every tendency we saw today had Garrett stamped all over it. We saw nothing from the first two games creativity tonight and that is troublesome.......
