Moore: With faith in Joseph Randle dwindling, Cowboys could have big running back shakeup

Just my view I see less aggressive running from Randle later in the game. People are excited he has a couple of big runs early then nothing. I think OL needs to play better but I also know RB like Murray ran behind OL much worse than this one and still produced for the Cowboys. yes I know what Murray is doing in Philly I also understand that is a different system than what the Cowboys are running. I want to see Randle do well but 2 to 3 runs a game is not going to cut it.

And the red headed guy is probably right. The fact he got a TD doesn't change the fact what an incredibly dumb and stupid play that was. It's like saying a QB made a great play throwing into quadruple coverage and the four defenders all bat the ball around like a hot potato and it lands in the arms of the WR standing in the endzone.

6 points. :lmao:

I'm not bailing on him yet.

He's a good runner when given opportunity. I don't know why he's in the doghouse so badly.

Because he doesn't hit the holes like he should and is more likely to bounce out of the hole then to accelerate into the hole. The leaping over the line is just another way of not hitting the gap hard and can one of his teammates injured. That's why they told him to NOT do it again after the Falcons game....and he did it anyway and he was lucky to not have fumbled it.

So he's either dumb or so afraid of getting hit that he's willing to leap and possibly injure one of his linemen (that's why Pollack was irate with him). So he is either stupid or selfish and won't listen to the coaching staff's orders.

That will put you in any doghouse quickly.

That's because that red headed guy with that stupid grin told him not to score on the goaline. That red headed guy has been taking down notes from that genious Tom Coughlin.

So you really see no problem with him being reckless with the football even tho the coaches told him not to do it..8 days ago! The fact that he got lucky is lost on you? He had that ball in 1 hand long before it crossed the goal line and is sheer grace of God that it wasn't knocked out half a second earlier.

Our running game and RBs are not effective?

That is like saying we should have a better plan for a back up QB than Weeden

It that we don't have a FS worth a darn

That is all hindsight

Surely no one could have seen that coming

Spin it any way you want, it was a dumb thing to do by Randle.

Pretty much spot on...two kinds of player you don't want to be...the one who "only" does what he's told, and the one who "doesn't" do what he's told. Bledsoe got benched permanently in 2006 by Parcells over something similar. Once a player stops responding to coaching, it's pretty much on the way to being over.

Chris Johnson is 5th in the NFL in rushing. But, Dallas locked into signing McFadden so early, they ruled him out.

It's not about the RB.

You guys just don't get that for some reason.

There is no RB that is going to make plays with no space to run in.

You need to watch the ALL-22. Randle has had plenty of holes open he just runs into his blockers far to often. He also is always looking to make a big cut and if its not there he goes down like a cheap hooker.

It's time to see C-Mike

Randle, McFadden, and Michael are all getting met in the backfield or right at the LOS..

I don't even blame the OL as much as I blame our predictability.

I think this is getting blown way out of proportion.

The man did score a touchdown after all.

If a player is aware of where the goalline is and puts the ball out there and scores then he did his job. I understand it was close and the alternative could have been a disaster but it's not like he has had a problem fumbling the ball trying to score on the goalline and it happens all the time.

This team has bigger fish to fry. I'm more ticked at how this team still doesn't seem to know when to call a timeout in a ballgame.

2nd time in 2 games. Also he was told not to do that **** again and guess what... he came out grinning. Sigh.

OL and playcalling. Fix them!

They can't be fixed because Jerry Jones owns the team. As long as he runs the team, we will never have legit coaches in here that will stay long enough to change the culture. Jerry's ego is gigantic so he always wants to have a say so in everything, so the good coaches won't come here.. instead we are stuck with puppets.

At times so did Murray and often times was able to take a loss and turn it into a gain, he also was hitting the cutbacks and was not hesitant in making his cuts and hitting the line. You claim it is not Randle yet organization, HC and OL coach seem to differ from your view point. Excuse me if I tend to think they know what is being called and how it is supposed to be run over that of a living room coach.

The culture has long since changed, buddy. Garrett scoured the roster of rot and decay, and now it's one of the best teams in the NFL when healthy. It's not healthy.

The team loses without Romo, Dez, Scandrick, Gregory, Hardy, McClain - plus Lee and Dunbar for half a game - and people actually think that's coaching?

Weeden versus Brees in New Orleans went to overtime.

If there is, indeed, anything at all resembling a "shakeup," I doubt if it will be anything astounding nor dramatic. Perhaps Randle will get fewer carries and C-Mike will get more than one. Other than that, nothing to really write home about. There really aren't that many alternatives to make the changes anything too dramatic. DMC really hasn't been doing much lately to warrant changing the extent of his participation, imho.

Maybe we need to run one in the first half, then switch to the other in the second, while mixing in McFadden some in more of a Dunbar role. Defenses will have to adjust to a different type of runner, which might give us at least some kind of edge.
