Video: More details on Cowboys DE Sam Williams car crash

I just wanna see the police cam video of Terrance Williams wiping out on a scooter
just days after running his Lamborghini into a light pole again.
Him sitting on a curb afterwards stating the obvious, "I, I just can't drive."
Hilarious!

Ah, tha's a good story.

Oh no....you're not Corvette Guy are you?
For many years it was the only American sports car. Owning a Vette is similar to owning a Harley, as pride and loyalty goes.

That said, if I ever manage to get one, I'm not wearing a jacket and hat, but I will park it where it's less likely to be dinged up by losers who have no respect for other people's property.

I hope he's OK.

That said, he's one of the infamous "Corvette Guys"?

Means he probably has a Corvette jacket, and driving gloves. "Corvette Guy" always parks at far end of parking lots at store, and then if you pay attention, they'll look back when they're about 20 feet away, so that they can admire their prize possession. Corvet Guy has no clue that EVERYONE else in the world thinks he's a total dork. HAHAHAHA at Corvette Guy!!!!!

P.s. if anyone in here owns a Corvette, I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about....other people. :)

I actually do park at the end of the parking lot. When you grow up wanting a particular car since you were a little kid and then you finally get one that is in pristine shape, you need to park away from the total inconsiderate idiots in this world that will throw open their car doors right into your car without any thought of the scratches and dings they are putting into the car you always wanted. So I guess I am guilty of being "Corvette Guy," thats better than being inconsiderate, the world revolves around me prick guy.

I got mine 6 months ago.....and I guess since I try to park away from those people you just described, I guess I am corvette guy.

I always liked the Vette. I liked the Vette for my entire childhood, and then when I was able to buy one, it happened to be during the time they decided to make Vettes like crap, 1987. I ended up buying a Buick Grand National instead. I think there was a 10 year time frame that the Vettes weren't all that nice. But most American cars were made poorly in the 80s.

1987 was the c4 and I agree, I didnt like that car. I have a 2006 which is the c6, which I love. I wouldnt turn my back on a c8, but spending 100k on a car isnt gonna happen.....lol

It lasted right up until they reintroduced the Stingray. Those years between the late 80's and the new body style were garbage. They didn't look much different than anything else on the road, and had that big, flat rear end with the bland round taillights...Ugh, I'm so glad they reinvented it!

he went to the hospiatl and was out in what??? 2 hours with no injuries. What are we supposed to talk about?
Just glad he is healthy it seems, but more concerned with the legalities.
If he walks away from this whole incident unscathed, then we are lucky.
Have seen suspensions handed out for these incidences before.

I forget when the Vettes made their comeback, but I know it was well before 2006. I'm always thinking of getting one, but never do. Not the one I built, mind you.

Yes!! I remember that. You know things are bad when I'm buying what looks like a Buick Regal over your Corvette.

I like the older ones always have

Yeah, it took awhile, but I finally figured that out. But my original post was a car between 100k-200k.

I never argued that the guy doesn't have the income to afford it. Of course he does. That's the problem. I've had union jobs for over 30 years. I have stability. The NFL is anything but that. Your timeframe could be as little as 3-4 years. But hey, it's his life.

In 3-4 years your stability might be gone. I think very soon, tolls are going to be done digitally, along with tracking of vehicles

I can retire any time I want starting this January. I was out of Tolls in 2014. But came back in 2019 because I knew I could retire from there. The reason I came back is because my midnight shift is so mind numbingly easy. All I do is watch you tube and Netflix all night. At some exits the collectors make more than they take in.

As far as going by pay by plate, they'll do it soon enough. But they have 3 or 4 extra ways they make money just because we're there. It's almost like a scam. If they go full pay by plate, all of that extra revenue is gone. Is it equal to or more than our pay and benefits? probably not. But it's definitely a lot.

My favorite year is the 61... convertible, of course.
Wife was working in Nashville for several weeks. I flew out for the weekend to hang out and we went to the Corvette museum which was about an hour away. Amazing Corvettes were in that building and my wife loved the 56 convertible. We were there about a week before the sink hole opened up and swallowed up several cars.

Oh yeah, I remember that story!

I like the '56 too, but if I were to go that old, I'd go with the original '53.
