Spot on. I've just settled on the fact that there are some here that will keep spewing the same stuff regardless of record, regardless of success. Its now about Garrett, its about them. The only joy I have in it is that they will have to deal with it, because he isn't going anywhere.

If anyone has watched the videos of the defense this year (Mic'd Up/Inside the NFL/Turning Point) I'd say that the players on defense had more to do with exceeding expectations than Marinelli.

When the leaders like Mincey and Scandrick spoke, everyone listened and they played together as a unit. They never wavered and played for each other despite what the media and fans initially thought of them. They all had something to prove and played like that all season long.

That cohesion is not because of the guy calling the plays, that's all on the players.

Marinelli leaving for Tampa will be a loss, but if we find the right guy with the same philosophy and the players buy into it then we'll be fine.

The real concern is finding more talent that can be coached into good/great players.
