Thanks for the great defense you created with the players you were given. You did the best anyone could ask for with what you had to work with.

I don't think rod is irreplaceable. I am hoping for a more aggressive DC to go along with better talent.

Where were the inside blitzes vs an immobile QB today? I feel like they let Rodgers off the hook. He clearly couldnt throw it down the field with a ton of accuracy and yet Dallas didnt take any chances on defense the whole game.

Rod M. Got more from the DL than expected. Would anyone say that about the secondary? Did we go 13-5 because of the defense or in spite of it. Rod improved the defense over what Kiffin accomplished--wow.

I'd like to have him back if we can find some great DLmen....but his refusal to blitz drives me crazy from time to time. Against Rodgers in the 2nd half., he chose to rush only 3 guys 5-6 times. I didn't see a single blitz.

I also didn't like that we made no adjustments after Rodgers started abusing Moore with Adams.

Not true. Broaddus was the one saying he didn't have inside info. People--including me--were commenting on that.

I still think it's a dumb decision to go from Dallas to Tampa if he does, but it doesn't matter. Good teams have to be good at filling open staff positions. It comes with the dinner as our free agent HC would say.
