You have a bunch of non-football guys who call/consider themselves “football guys” who will throw money at average/declining players, or let them go for peanuts; won’t go out and bring in FAs who can make a difference; waste early round draft picks; hire retread coaches with no innovation, or fresh ideas. This organization is a poor example of how a football organization should be run from top-to-bottom.
The only great thing Jerry has done is kept the Cowboys relevant after 28 years of mediocrity.
Pretty much, no other organization in the league would hire either of these two in any capacity

Well you would absolutely hire them to increase your Brand and value of the organization. The NFL is no longer a sports business it is an entertainment business and Jerry wins hands down every year.

There's no accountability for Jerry ever. Even this talk that he handed the reins to Stephen just buys more excuses for him. Stephen is a numbnuts who shouldn't be running a football team but here we are. That is all on Jerry. The guy's a complete clown. He talks about wanting to win, but doesn't do anything to actually help in that regard.

We should not even call him Stephen. He is Jr to me until proven otherwise.

"It is an entertainment business and Jerry wins hand down..."
Absolute truth. What other NFL owner had 78 year old legend Dolly Parton singing and dancing, wearing a skimpy cheerleader outfit, before 85,000 at AT&T and national TV?

That's great.. Jerry can handle the brand, but shouldn't also be managing the football team. And his kid would never be in the conversation. Now they're a package deal and no one can figure out who is more responsible.

lol how are the players or even coaches to blame when we've had these EXACT same results for 30 years?

Remember when Dez Bryant was the problem? Tony Romo? Demarcus Ware until he won a Superbowl elsewhere? Martellus Bennett until he won a Superbowl elsewhere?

This is Jerry's ship. He refuses to hire a GM so he's 'at fault'. Stephen is looking like a mini-Jerry because he's not pushing for a GM either, but ultimately what we're seeing is Jerry playing live madden.

No combination of players is going to win under the soft culture and coaching that the Jones boys will bring in here. 30 years is plenty of evidence of that.
DING DING DING!!! winner!

In recent years, who cares the blame for decisions this organization has made, in terms of our lack of success. Would you blame Jerry or is it more so Stephen these days? Please give your thoughts
Both, but without Jerry, Stephen wouldn't even get consideration.

He's solely responsible for the Cowboys being a family business.

Jerry, for being Jerry… and for employing his son.
Also Jerry for being responsible for the lack of accountability that’s existed for the majority of the last 3 decades.

Fine.

So when/if the Chiefs or Ravens win the SB, 1st and foremost, give the owner and GM credit....not Mahomes and crew or Jackson and crew.
As long as you are consistent, that's fine.

Kraft was the reason the Pats won.... ahead of Brady or Belichick. Really?

But if that's how you feel....then fine.
it has to work both ways.
Kraft isn't the GM. I'm not and never have included the owner in this.

The GM always gets credit, as it is his job to put the team together.

Pioli and Belly got a ton of credit, the GM's of the team.

Now, let's separate this "credit" thing you're referring to and the "blame", which is what this is about. Who's to blame for the Cowboys' clusterfudge? Whomever put the team together, including coaches and players.

What makes him a great owner?
I think people have a hard time dividing the 2. Cowboys are the number one brand and it is not even close. The NFL would struggle without the Cowboys.

The media would not even know what to talk about.
