Stephen has more direct control.. Jerry is becoming less and less involved.

You have a bunch of non-football guys who call/consider themselves “football guys” who will throw money at average/declining players, or let them go for peanuts; won’t go out and bring in FAs who can make a difference; waste early round draft picks; hire retread coaches with no innovation, or fresh ideas. This organization is a poor example of how a football organization should be run from top-to-bottom.
The only great thing Jerry has done is kept the Cowboys relevant after 28 years of mediocrity.

Is that a defense of SJ? He trades for the guy and then parks him on the bench the whole year. So right now, Lance has even less value than he did in SF.
And for some very strange godforsaken reason, didn't even give him a snap in trash time. Someone please explain to me how that makes any sense at all, even a modicum of logic.

Only if we don’t have a QB. Campo was 4-7 with a declining Aikman before he was injured in 2000 and 1-4 with his replacements. The Cowboys never had a viable QB during the Campo years. When things have gone really bad for the Cowboys it’s when they didn’t have a solid QB.
Not only that, we didn't have 1st round picks to build the team back up.

Jerry not only refuses to rebuild, he sabotages the forced rebuild by throwing high draft picks away.

That's odd. Jeruh makes a trade all by himself, without talking to anyone. That is most likely because no one else wanted him and we wonder why he is parked on the bench as the most expensive emergency QB in NFL history.

Jerry is the owner and has ultimate authority over everything, so the onus is on him.

Still, what does it matter? They are a package deal.

Most organized teams when they trade for someone they have a plan for the player and how it is going to improve the team. Definitely not in this situation.

I’m surprised Jerry knew who Lance was……. I guess we will see the plan for Lance this offseason.
