For those of us not fortunate enough to be in the "market" and unable to see Sunday's game, it's on now on NFL network. Even tho I already know the results it's still nice to see how they played.

Crazy weather this time of year. A tropical system went from a disturbance to a depression to a weak tropical storm within 12 hours and has made landfall south of Houston. The wife says it’s not windy but there is heavy rainfall. We’re fortunate it was moving fast before it could strengthen further.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Looks like I'll be trying to sand the rust off the refrigerator and repaint it today. I did a small section yesterday and it turned out okay. Not like new but passable. I need to borrow an orbital sander from someone because using a sanding block like I am takes a long time. Happy hump day, Y'all.

Morning Pops and hope you folks down in the southeastern part of Texas are weathering this storm. Beaumont is supposed to get 12-15" and parts are already flooding.

Whatever happened to just rain? Jan had a hell of a flood in her area, we had that frog choker back in October that rearranged the terrain and this latest storm fooled the hell out of the experts by deciding to grow in strength at the last moment.

We are sorry that you missed the game, Jan. It's weird watching the Cowboys without a bottle of Tums in one hand and champagne in the other. Their grip on opponents is tighter than it has been in many years. It's nice to see them impose their skills and talents on despicable rivals.
