Morning, Pops and pen pals. I finished sanding and painting the refrigerator and it looks pretty good. The color matches perfectly. I bought some Jamaican Blue Mountain blend coffee that's pretty good. It's not quite as good as the pure Jamaican Blue Mountain but it retains a lot of the smoothness and lack of bitterness that it's known for. Y'all have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COACH!! I've still got 2 1/2 yrs on you. Love your birthday weekend plan. It sounds fabulous and I'm proud of you for going overboard. Have a great time!

ABQ, yes, I did think my arm was going to fall off. It even made my neck and shoulder sore. I guess it was worth it though.

Xelda, I love your posts.
Thanks, Leon. I plan to take hedonism to another level. Hell, I am starting to be envious of me.

Happy Birthday CC

Where’s the cake n coffee ;)?

Good morning Pops and friends
Thanks RGV, not a cake guy, PIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Picking up a banana cream pie from the Bluebonnet Cafe, famous for their pies round these parts. They sell 3K+ every Tday and Christmas, that's 900K in pie revenue just for to go home pies. Crazy, when you walk in the restaurant, you can see into the kitchen and it's nothing but Pie Ladies, I am thinking of reporting them for running a Pie Lady Sweat Shop....after I get my pie.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who check in, even if only to read, before they start their weekend.

Well, well, well........ It's Friday Coach, Happy Birthday Brother. Remember now, you no longer have to wait for lightning to strike a near by rock in order to get a surface hot enough to grill a slab of meat anymore. They got these things with fire and a grill that you can cook those bad boys up anytime you want! :D

Seriously though, I hope you have a great BDay Coach. Hell, I hope you have already started in on that plan!

Leon's Check List:

One Fridge with "impossible to get off" Finish (What the hell is on this thing anyway?) - Check

140 lbs of Coarse, Extra Coarse, Medium, Fine, Very Fine, Extra Fine, Super Fine, Ultra Fine Grit Sand Paper - Check

Seven Different Catalogs with Power Tools but not one with an Orbital Sander that can be delivered inside of a month - Check

Arm Sling, Neck Brace, Back Brace, Copper Fit Hand Brace, Knee Brace, Tylenol Three (bought from the guy at the local Libreria), Jar of Emu Azul - Check

Week three and I'm ready to go ya'll. Got Miami and OkieSt on the menu this weekend.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, hope all of you are ready for a great weekend. Without further delay, lets get to it!

Everybody, have a great, but safe, weekend!

Peace!

Happy Birthday Coach!!!
In honor of Coach's birthday, France is celebrating him being born in America.

Happy Coach's birthday everyone! To mark the special occasion, the Cowboys have been assigned the team most likely to implode this Sunday. Enjoy! :star:

Morning Pops, and a VERY HAPPY, GUILT FREE BIRTHDAY TO YOU, CC!!! .....Just make sure you leave enough in the tank to come here and tell us about it in the morning!
I'm thinking he'll make it back Tuesday with no memory (confessions) of what happened. Hector will know, but he's not telling either.

Morning Pops and fellow CZ members.

Happy belated Birthday CC!

Dang, I didn't realize this thread was still going. We all miss pops. He was always up first thing in the morning. Kind, humble, knowledgable etc.

Brings me back to the speech pacino gave in that movie. "in life things start getting taken from ya, you don't realize that until you start losing these things etc".

Thanks to all the members and mods here. Greatest forum and group of people ever. I remember yas all from way back when!

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Welcome to the Weekend! We've had nice low to mid eighties days lately with a nice breeze. There was rain in the distance yesterday but it didn't come our way. I will travel back home on Wednesday. It will be nice to see the family again. Take care, everyone.

You pretty much nailed it, ABQ. I rewarded myself last night by cooking up a tender steak and fried tater tots for dinner. I'm a simple meat and potatoes man.

Good morning Pops and Zoner Friends,

As the temperatures dip into the 40's at night, I am preparing to teach another scuba course this weekend. All those young (and, not so young) and eager minds ready to master the mysteries of the deep. Ah... Fun times.

I will DVR the game and watch it tomorrow night. So, please no discussion of the game until late Sunday.

:muttley:

Have a good weekend everyone. And, @CouchCoach, enjoy the post-birthday libations.

Evening Pops and everyone.

Once again, tomorrow's game is not in my market:mad:, and I can't stomach paying $70 to watch, so back to scoring updates on friggin Google:(. Tonight NFL Network ran "America's Game" featuring the '71 Cowboys and then the next hour "A Football Life" with Roger Staubach (watching now) as the feature. My favorite all-time QB (and of course favorite Coach Landry). Best I can do for my Cowboys fix...and oohhh, what a fix!! Great videos!!!

Everyone enjoy the game. I'm so jealous of you!

Go Cowboys!!!:starspin::flagwave::starspin:

I actually know how you feel, Jan. One particular Sunday has haunted me for years. I live in Cowboys/Saints territory and one year they asked everyone to vote as to which game they wanted to see. I underestimated the number of Saints fans and they played them! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? My Cowboys were playing and I was stuck fuming at my TV while the worthless Saints game was aired. I would love to leave this area but not sure how to cope without my Cowboy games during NFL season.

Jan, you can stream the game on Reddit.com if you have decent internet speed. I've done that twice here in the Bahamas but I don't have fast internet so buffering was a problem.
